I’m not sure my enthusiasm makes it through my monotone voice but I am really excited to finally dig into this thing 😂 I hope people find this video that actually need help pulling a body off in addition to informative no bs entertainment. We appreciate all of you! stapletonautoworks.com
Just shared this to 2 of the bigger gmt400 groups on Facebook. One of them is already triggered by Dylan, they'll probably love this! Hopefully we can catch a few more viewers that way.
I’m here I’m here. Just started and going to finish it on my drive home. If you actually watch and pay attention long enough we can tell when you are excited and not. We can also pay attention to Logan and if she is excited about doing stuff and throwing ideas out to make it easier is a good indicator of what’s going on. She is way different from uncle rob headlight days😂😂
"Nothing is a waste of time if you enjoy it." Love it! Can't remember how many times people doubt my builds, because it's not the best platform. But once you finish it up, just have to remember who stuck beside you. The others can be left in the dust!
Uncle George is gonna rock the streets back there when this build is completed! I'd replumb it in -8 AN hose/lines and fittings to feed that thirsty big block. Logan is rocking that rattle gun pulling body mounts, kudos to her for jumping right in and getting 'er done! Excellent tutorial on all the stuff that needs to be done to pull the body off of a frame! I'm there with you guys as you conquer the rust, old hardware and dirtyass components, have been there & done that too! Big thanks to both you & Logan for another great video, keep up the good work!
Logan taught me something and that is there are women out there that don’t mind working to have something they want and just not have it handed to them
On those big stuck bolts pull don’t push you have way more strength pulling rather than pushing( 40 years in the gym experience). Love this series I can’t wait to see the front wheel come off the ground !
Outstanding. Even if Logan is from Oklahoma. 👍 Definitely not a waste of time. A real world build. That regular people could duplicate with an engine if their choice.
A previous employer said that they used a linkage style column but attached a cable to the end of it like they owned the place, don't know if that helps in your case w/ headers but it may be viable. Also, mad props to Logan, I've been a tech (in one way or another for 20 years) now an owner, you just don't find many ladies willing to just Leeroy Jenkins into a task (in a good way). Keep it up folks!
Well... Uncle George is sure going on right ahead now... pull t'frame out, repaint it, put t'motor back in, and he's good to go forward... you're both doing the almost unthinkable... incredible. Keep right on Rolling. Mr. Forbes will need some serious advice from me, however... I'm a Rolls man, remember? Very best wishes to you both. Regards
Love your content and how you’ve grown. It’s pretty cool to see how Logan is right there with you. She was kinda timid in the beginning and now just jumps in and gets stuff done. You two are perfect together and you can definitely see she loves ya by the way she looks at you.
I don't know about you, but I take pics with my phone before taking stuff apart in case I forget how things are routed like wiring etc. Thanks for the content you two. 👍
Oh hell yes! I friggin love this channel so damn much! I’m a car nut through and through and I love how you share as much as possible in your builds as well as all the awesome adventures you guys go on, keep up the awesomeness!
A like on the video for Logan being a badass. Love how she just gets in there and does stuff. This whole series is gonna be good.so I'm here to see it. Always get a little something out of what you're doing that applies to stuff I'm doing.
Commenting primarily to help the algorithm, but also to ask a (possibly stupid) question. What does OBS stand for? Love your style of videos and I think you and Logan are awesome
Old body style. It’s leftover forum lingo that’s survived somehow. The gmt800 used to be nbs (new body style) and the 900s were dubbed nnbs (new new body style). Thankfully they aren’t calling the current generation nnnnbs 😂 it needs to go away. But people search obs to identify this generation of truck so I still use it in places.
Mitchell you and Logan are killing it I watch all your videos have been for a while definitely a couple year OG. Just a reminder if any areas that you have the Por 15 on that is going to have any UV light make sure you use the Por 15 top coat I actually like covering all of it with it because it leaves it more of a matte OEM finish
Another great video, wasn't as bad as I was thinking still alot to get loose. Logan rockin that impact. Get my shirts and stickers Friday, be representing in Kentucky, yes sir!!!! Thanks y'all be safe, much love from Kentucky! Look forward to seeing that next!
Love my Milwaukee high torgue 1/2" M18 Impact gun. It's a beast. Good purchase there Mitchell. I love these build and racing vids more than your "tours", but that's just my 2 cents worth. Cheers!!!
The milkaukee is worth the money by far! Busted my knuckle bad breaking the bolts loose removing the bed from my 3rd gen ram to have some wheel arch rust repaired and immediately went out and got one. Never again!!
I definitely recommend putting the top coat and follow the instructions on POR15. I didn’t on a truck frame and it was nice but the top coat I think would’ve made it look better. Just FYI from how mine went. Great video. Love the build.
I like your videos I just started watching your channel a few months back I have enjoyed every video I have watched. I can’t wait to see the final results of the suburban build
I just noticed that you are also doing a restore! I've realized that I only like restore builds of vehicles that interest me; A 93' Suburban is not one of them. Love the content, look forward to your next time capsule junkyard!
No, have not seen a frame off on a 90’s Suburban. Love it though, my Dad had a 95 3/4 ton with a 454, 4x4 with weld alum 16” wheels and dang it was cool back in the day. It was also white with gray cloth interior, love the GM cloth interior of the 90’s up to 07 when they hired Dodge to build there cloth interiors! Looking forward to seeing Uncle George go through the refresh! If you pull the dash you should think about the 95-99 dash, love the 2nd gen dash in that body style. But the interior is so clean it’s hard to not keep it. Thanks for the content!
I have an ideal for your merch that is something nobody else is doing. I’m in phx and do a lot of my garage stuff in shorts……….would buy five pairs of Stapleton trans smasher shorts. Love you guys.
.... 1500HD and 2500 non HD trucks will have the 9.5” 14b you’re looking for with disc brakes! And can swap out the 8 lug axle shafts for 6 lug pretty easy. My 2000 2500 had one. Good axles, I put in 4.88 gears then beat on it with a supercharged 6.0L and 37x13.50 tires.
Just a word of advice for the POR 15. Get a cheap paint gun and just spray it. Takes so much less time. I used a brush for years and finally used the gun and what a difference in looks and how much less time it takes. Great job on the build so far.
I don't know what to say, I love all your content so keep it up. Everything is a grind even gamers on here are stichin hours if not days of work for 30 min of content. Keep it up you guys 😁
I’m loving this build, Helps motivate me to keep working on my gmt 400 frame off, I have a spare set of 454 ss mirrors that I’d gladly donate to uncle George
You're both awesome. I've always wanted a fast Suburban. I tried to buy a retired police Suburban that ran super strong and still had all the goodies in it. Unfortunately it was a bit out of my price range. It was super bad ass though.
Taylor Ray just finished a 1990's single cab Chevy with all the factory equipment working with a Holley system running the engine, integrated in with the factory dash. Reach out, he is crazy smart with this stuff and builds some killer vehicles.
There was a service bulletin for those 90's trucks/SUV's that the paint peeled off of. Not sure if its still active. If it is maybe you can get a repaint under warranty?
you guys were lucky as the dirt spray you got taking out the body bolts back east would usually be the black water funk shower. Also that connection on the condenser for the orifice tube is always seized because of were it is being right in the grill. they do make a line repair kit just for those orifice tube on GM's. Those other a/c o-ring fittings are not usually very tight like ones you had because they just keep the o-ring snug.
i’m so zoned into you movie when you were under truck breathing hard i caught myself breathing hard to : You both are fantastic people and excellent content
I’m not sure my enthusiasm makes it through my monotone voice but I am really excited to finally dig into this thing 😂 I hope people find this video that actually need help pulling a body off in addition to informative no bs entertainment. We appreciate all of you!

I want to bring my turbo ls swapped bmw e92 to your shop so you can check it out and take it for a spin
@@speedingwithbino2922 We’re not open to the public. Best bet would be to bring it to an event we’re at!
Thank you guys for the killer vids!!!

“Nothing is a waste of time if you enjoy it.” Words to live by. Unless someone else is paying for my build, I don’t care what their opinion is.
Good job Mista Mitchell & Miss Logan
Thank you!
filming and building is hard, if it was easy, everyone would do it. Truer words have never been spoken, love the big block content my man!
That was a big one “That’s what she said “ Logan is one of a kind .
Great Video !! Logan just Jumping in there and getting it Done !! She is a Beast..🍀 206 SEATTLE
Great job Logan. I love how you're not afraid to jump in there and get dirty you're a badass and you rock
"Nothing is a waste of time if you enjoy it."
Love it! Can't remember how many times people doubt my builds, because it's not the best platform. But once you finish it up, just have to remember who stuck beside you. The others can be left in the dust!
Exactly!
Good timing I need a break from wild NFL free agency 🤣!
I like all the stuff you guys do.
Uncle George is gonna rock the streets back there when this build is completed! I'd replumb it in -8 AN hose/lines and fittings to feed that thirsty big block. thanks man we appreciate you
Logan taught me something and that is there are women out there that don’t mind working to have something they want and just not have it handed to them
Excellent video! You two guys are awesome 😎 to watch
,!🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟❤️
On those big stuck bolts pull don’t push you have way more strength pulling rather than pushing( 40 years in the gym experience). Love this series I can’t wait to see the front wheel come off the ground !
You also have more control over how far your hand travels when the bolt breaks.
I learn more useful knowledge from build and tear down videos. Logan is always a trooper.
Thanks Benny!
"You can guess where they came from" 🤣🤣 Logan is the best!
Outstanding. Even if Logan is from Oklahoma. 👍 Definitely not a waste of time. A real world build. That regular people could duplicate with an engine if their choice.
I’m not sure where that came from, but I’m not. I’d take Oklahoma over Texas any day of the week though lol
I totally agree that nothing is a waste of time if you enjoy it. You do what makes you happy.
Yeah Logan's a beast. Liked asap always.
Thank you!
You guys are doing great, its really nice to se something similar to normal, and not so hyped up that nothing makes sence

It`s so good that you and Logan work as a team, and get along so good together plus Logan looks like she likes doing that stuff.
Hell yes. Love watching your videos keep up the hard work.
Thank you Robert!
Love how you show tips and I love how you show everything and don't hide anything from us
This is a badass build.
I love seeing vehicles like this getting some love instead of drove in to the ground. Going to be different and awesome 👌!
Thanks man 💪🏻
Love your content and how you’ve grown. It’s pretty cool to see how Logan is right there with you. She was kinda timid in the beginning and now just jumps in and gets stuff done. You two are perfect together and you can definitely see she loves ya by the way she looks at you.
Thank you Robert! I always tell him just give me a task and I will do it :)
Logan, on her way to the next step of turning wrenches. Now she throws them 🤣🤣🤣, JK, I like the progress and looking forward to the next one.
I always learn from your videos. It usually would take a large can of Kroil to get a body and brackets off.
I don't know about you, but I take pics with my phone before taking stuff apart in case I forget how things are routed like wiring etc. Thanks for the content you two. 👍
That’s what we’re doing 😂 thanks man
Ok, you guys are now the go to place for instruction and interesting videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Steven!!
Welcome to the Show! To learn educate value base and were having fun. Good times.
Logan rocks with a impack, your both awesome, don’t always understand the terminology, but great viewing as always 👍🇬🇧

Seems like every 90s family had one of these rigs…except mine. Being an only child, I had to settle for the back seat of an 89 S10 Blazer.
This build is going to be epic, from the ground up. Thanks
Mitchell and Logan.
Thank you Greg!
Loving the build episodes so far. Classic stuff from you with addition of Logan. Looking forward to seeing her out there racing something!!
Thought you could have ran the hoover next to body mounts after that first dust shower.
Commenting primarily to help the algorithm, but also to ask a (possibly stupid) question. What does OBS stand for?

Job well done it's good having help as excited as much as yourself make a great team all the best to yous and your loved ones
Helpful tip the axles in the 6 or 8 lug both are interchangeable from each other in the 14 bolt, same spline count and all!!!!

I just noticed that you are also doing a restore! I've realized that I only like restore builds of vehicles that interest me; A 93' Suburban is not one of them. Love the content, look forward to your next time capsule junkyard!

I'm kinda excited to see it done, I can't wait to see the looks on people when you pull up with that big block thumping under the hood!
It’s gonna be so fun and funny lol. Thanks for being here for it Chad 💪🏻
Just a word of advice for the POR 15. Get a cheap paint gun and just spray it. Takes so much less time. I used a brush for years and finally used the gun and what a difference in looks and how much less time it takes. Great job on the build so far.
Commenting because I dont have friends😂 keep up the great work guys!
I love what yall do i am hopfully one day gonna open a shop of my own
I don't know what to say, I love all your content so keep it up. Everything is a grind even gamers on here are stichin hours if not days of work for 30 min of content. Keep it up you guys 😁
No time for roadkill?? That’s no good. Enjoy what y’all do. Keep it up.
I'll have it be known, my like was for Logan being a beast! 😁 I mean it was a good video, but that's what my like was for. 😂

You guys kill it every time!
I’m loving this build, Helps motivate me to keep working on my gmt 400 frame off, I have a spare set of 454 ss mirrors that I’d gladly donate to uncle George
Thanks man. I actually prefer the standard mirrors oddly enough lol
It helps me out! I'll be starting on my Chevy 97 ext stepside real soon. I'm soaking up all your stuff. Thanks man.
Thanks Ray 💪🏻
Great video! Happy to see you got an impact!
It’s crazy how our projects aligned lol I’m currently fixing up and LS swapping an obs Chevy tow truck
