I can relate to that ending so much tbh. I’ve had many “identity crisis” (not to sound too emo and all), but from changing myself so many times, ive realized that people are never going to be satisfied with who you are, so changing myself is only for me, which also comes with even more questions unlike before where i would think “how do i act for people to like me?”, ive gone deeper in it thinking more about how to actually be a good person, to make myself satisfied with the way i am and it really definitely is a journey and im so happy you shared your thoughts with us! I originally searched you up because of ashley and watched this video because of her too, but just by watching this video, i think imma start binge watching and loving you too!

I'm a traveller, and my identity is deeply rooted in its very fluidity. I don't have to have a concrete vision, at least in the way most people seem to expect it. I have a vision of becoming someone who can love absolutely anyone, talk to people in their native languages, write poetry and prose that moves hearts to reach out to each other, and live a life of joy and forgiveness. Everything else is just the medium through which I execute that vision. Love you Elena! You always inspire me to love myself, and I'm so grateful for that!

I was told by a really wise old woman once that the goal of life is not to live one life in your lifetime but to live as many as you can. It’s okay if you go through changes and try on different personas...the key is to make sure that you can live with your choices, treat everyone (including yourself) the best you can, and don’t be afraid of saying yes! on finding yourself...I don't think you've lost who you are. one of the reasons i watch your videos is that you encapsulate different places so richly. its fun to see your wardrobe, music, friendships, and overall style be uniquely influenced by your surroundings. that is how a city or place *should* leave a mark on someone! i've never been to san diego but because of you, i get a real sense of the breezy, laid-back lifestyle. as someone who lived in nyc for 8 years, i also appreciate the special side of the city you show that's authentic and exciting. cheers to living multiple lives- live as many as you can, and keep sharing along the way!
That last bit at the end had me so RELIEVED. I've been panicking the past few months feeling like I'm wasting time and not doing what I'm "meant to do" and becoming who I'm "meant to be" and it's nice to know that even though you're leaving what I would consider my dream life, you're also feeling a bit lost and confused! It makes me feel like what I'm doing with my life might not be that wrong because we're all feeling a lil lost and confused in our twenties and we just have to embrace the journey

I think in a way when we let go of all of the labels we associate with ourselves and all of the fear and uncertainty of who we are, our true self is revealed. I think we're all just love.
People are multidimensional, nobody is ever one thing! I hear this all the time on RUclips, and I think it comes from feeling very close to someone and not realizing you are only seeing part of them. No one should feel like they can’t explore all the facets of their personality and all of their interests :) I really believe that a long as you’re not hurting yourself or someone else, you can never “lose” yourself. It would be crazy if you had yourself completely figured out by your 20s anyway. Love your videos and excited to see you try new things! ❤️
