Thanks for breaking that down Andy. I’m 70 now, been playing since I was 11, and have to say, finding new inspiration in your playing. You are one of the special ones Sir.
Very tasty - love Andy's feel, so smooth and effortless. Great instructor btw! But, listen to Move On at about the 1min mark - this one is so exceptional. His creativity and uniqueness is off the charts - God given talent!
One of the most detailed lessons I’ve ever seen of an artist actually explaining their song. Awesome lesson by an awesome bloke, this is why we love you Andy T!
BRILLIANT ANDY!!! I was looking everywhere for a nice transcript with explanation on that bluesy slippery gypsy lick 😂 couldn’t have a better one than the master artist himself! Thank you so much!!!
How has this only got 6188 views? Here's a lesson with an absolute master of guitar. Maybe guitarists haven't yet discovered the true worth of learning Andy Timmons phrasing.
you're absolutely right. He's being overlooked so hard...his phrasing and playing are absolutely brilliant...another perfect example or his phrasing work - there are no words, among many other songs.
Andy is by far the most humble, beautiful human being who happens to be one great amazing guitarist. Just listen to his version of Autumn Leaves, it will leave you with your mouth open.
I do know that on this guitar it's decked, but he has a white version of the same signature guitar with a rosewood neck and that one he sets up floating.
People who want to learn that transition from Bm to G not feels trickysound.that is the hardest to learn in that riff.some ordinary people who want to learn that riff, need more slow.i learn that for more than 2yrs,but still not sounds like you play.i don't know how many times i watch this video to learn it.
This is what separates good players like the majority of guitar players from great players like Andy. If you look at it closely, the riff is simple enough to look at but the way Andy adds feel to it by playing pedal notes makes it much more complicated than what it really looks like.

So are you, whoever you are 🥲
That's what a fretboard looks like when you spend 40,000 hours practicing, love it!
I love Andy's guitar playing. He is so expressive and dynamic. A truly gifted musician
This is hands down the most beautiful and tasty lick ever written.period.

Andy is the man!!! He manages to sound more Jimmi Hendrix than jimmi
This man besides being the best is the humblest human being
Disagree

Andy’s playing is so tasteful.
True! He’s very melodic!
the other course, melodic muse, made me realize it’s an art form making melodies with so few notes ( R 3 5 chords)
It is great to get a lesson from the person who actually wrote the song.
Andy is the best of the best of the best!
Yes very true,,but its still difficult to understand
That lick is solid gold.
My favourite guitar riff. I love everything about andys playing
Very underrated guitarist!!!
His phrasing is from another planet 👌👌

Thank You, Andy....You are My Favorite Guitarist around....and describe your music very well....
Extremely helpful, nice to get it right with details

Almost 10k. A month after. But I agree! He deserves millions

The Lesson that I was searching! Absolutely awesome.
cool song......
Did he say "he has a hard time with"?
Awesome! Does he use the tremolo floating or decked?
I do know that on this guitar it's decked, but he has a white version of the same signature guitar with a rosewood neck and that one he sets up floating.
Mostly decked as far as I know.
Sensacional

Did you manage to do it ? :/
@@KaiiizenOne Hi, no, i can't in this vídeo... but look this vídeo, a little bit more easy to see:

Truefire can't even get the tab for this correct
what is that middle pickup
my guess would be like a Dimarzio Area 58, 61, or 67. It looks like he replaced the middle Dimarzio Cruiser (might have died/stopped working)
🤘🏼😷🤘🏼
This way of playing..massaging the guirar
still the last lick Is a little fast for me
The beauty of RUclips- you can slow it down to 0.5 speed under the settings gear- no change in pitch!
@@yjmsrv that's a great idea and his voice will sound extremely funny! 😂
Don't worry about the tempo. man. I will slow this video to dissect it for myself.
You just focus on doing this acousticky strummy thing of yours.
ah

beda memang kalo yang punya lagu yang main
Looks like he has a trouble showing this lick in details because his hands just do this themselves
I love AT's playing but this attempt to teach us the slippery lick is rather poor
