    Or just buy the 20 dollar tool instead of a 70 dollar set of wrenches

      If its from harbor freight you can just take it back and get a new one

      20 dollar tool from Amazon strips your head threads or bolt snaps it’s not grade 8. Both happened to me. The 70$ tool works good. Icon wrenches are 39$.

      ​@@dozabuildsnever in 40 years and hundreds of valve seal replacement has the $5 tool broke a stud or nut. If you are doing it correctly you are pushing against the spring. If your spring is stronger than your studs you have bigger issues than valve seals.

    That's 100% a cool trick but that's a nice wrench to be drilling a hole in. Use a cheaper wrench lol

    I guess if you need to do this with the head still on the block, it's a good idea. Otherwise, just buy the correct tool.
