20 dollar tool from Amazon strips your head threads or bolt snaps it’s not grade 8. Both happened to me. The 70$ tool works good. Icon wrenches are 39$.
@@dozabuildsnever in 40 years and hundreds of valve seal replacement has the $5 tool broke a stud or nut. If you are doing it correctly you are pushing against the spring. If your spring is stronger than your studs you have bigger issues than valve seals.
Or just buy the 20 dollar tool instead of a 70 dollar set of wrenches
Yeah but you still have wrenches
If its from harbor freight you can just take it back and get a new one

That's 100% a cool trick but that's a nice wrench to be drilling a hole in. Use a cheaper wrench lol
The cheaper Pittsburg wrench snapped on me lol
Yeah i can see that coming in handy for a trail fix as a last resort
Icon wrenches BEAT snapon wrenches in a slip test.icon 80$.snap on 300$.u do the math
I feel like ur making work brother
I guess if you need to do this with the head still on the block, it's a good idea. Otherwise, just buy the correct tool.
This is a stupid hack and a waste of time
Chyna hack!
