I love your reoccurring tasks or time specifics post it notes that moves easily, yellow pages for references, simple, uncluttered, portable and minimized to stay organized.
These are standard Filofax tabs, but I've used my label maker to create new names for them. I use the 'box' setting on the label maker which makes perfectly-sized tab titles and at the same time shown me where to cut them down. Yes, there's a zip pocket, and no, I don't use it. I don't use internal zip pockets at all, in fact, because they're just too fiddly to access.
Great video! You are so organized. I especially like your idea of keeping a list of books purchased/read. I buy tons of books, with the INTENTION of reading them and well....you know what happens, they get placed on the book self, where they stay. Will use several of your good ideas. Even though I'm a lady, I really enjoy very practical and minimalist organizing ideas so you really helped me here. Thanks a lot! how are you liking the month on two pages view with the squishy weekend slots.. i find those seriously useless for that matter... im glad i got a new personal ranger that came with week on 2 pages with normal size days for all days of the week.
The Personal vs A5 debate has no single answer. I think what will ultimately make your decision is how much writing will be done. I find the Personal pages fine for the odd note but hard work for writing more than a sentence, while I could write in the A5 all day. But the A5 is bulkier and heavier so you need to consider that too.
Did you make your own tabs? None of my tab sets from Filofax include a 'tasks' tab. Also do you find the back pocket of the Holden useful or not? I see you don't have much back there but doesn't it have a zipper section in one of the back slip pockets...some other Holden users have complained about it's lack of accessibility. Just wondering because I am considering a Holden. Thanks! -Cheryl
Great video...on both the Filofax and your delivery! Love your use of sticky tabs for recurring tasks. Wasn't sure what was meant about the microwave; guessing it's to do with Frixion ink disappearing when heated? Meaning you re-use your task sheets? Would like to use your templates but struggle with printing back to back and getting them to line up...not sure if its my bad printer or just me not understanding how to do this. -Cheryl

I love that you make templates available for personal binders, but have struggled to get the sizing right on my computer using both the word docs, and PDFs. I will continue to try, but would love tips. I'm thinking perhaps I should cut the paper to size first, and try printing that way. Thanks for all you do!
I'm sure it would be wonderfully satisfying. I even have nice paper set aside. I haven't given up. I just put it aside for another day. It may be that I need to try this on my DHs PC instead of my Mac. I can't get the two sided pages to line up properly.

Thank you. Yes, Frixion ink will disappear if you put the page in the microwave at full power for a minute or so. Watch it happen through the glass - it's excellent fun. The pages will only line up if you're using A4 paper and setting the duplex to flip on the short edge. The settings work for most printers, but some do odd things. I may do a video at some point on printing pages.
I can live with it for now. If I have a more complex weekend, I just add in a day planner form and use that. This won't be the diary format I use next year, though!

They're both nice binders, but I prefer the internal configuration of the Holborn.
