Well, if memory doesn't fails me, good ol' 096 tanked the entirety of a military company many times during the containment breaches, and he's pretty darn durable. Damn, he fought 682 and "lived", granted he doesn't go anywhere near the lizard afterwards. I'm fairly sure the Slayer can beat 096 up, but not with a little resistance
@@sparking023 those are the normal people with regular weaponary (as if in "no plasma weaponary or Argent Energy infused weaponary". Just normal guns). Off course they get clapped. While there would be a lot of resistance, 096 would have trouble hurting Doomguy (just the basic: aside from regeneration (luckily game implemented it into a "heal upon kill" mechanic), he got nearly indestructible piece of equipment that can even fix itself if it somehow gets damaged)
I like to think the only reason the Slayer didn't just instagib 096 is because he had never seen something like that before, and was legitimately curious as to what it was. After hundreds of millions of years fighting the hordes of Hell, in Hell, he probably assumed he'd seen everything and was just interested in this new creature to slaughter
He could easily assume zero 96 is a zombie given that he’s killed tons of weird looking creatures that hell has spat out or a summoner of some sort or even a revenant that still has its skin attached

I can't remember the number, but there is an SCP that's just a guy with an organic power suit from another dimension. they pretty much keep him contained for study and the organizations general paranoia. though the SCP is rather agreeable, so I don't know how well that would work with the doom slayer
It’s like enjoying a fine wine, you need time to enjoy the taste and allure of it. Same goes for brutally beating and murdering inter dimensional beings and the like
I dunno, he still uses regular guns against opponents that can be killed with guns. And we know that when he runs into opponents who can't be physically killed (like the Titans) he's smart enough to accept that and find some other way to neutralize them. So if he fought 096 or, say, 682, then he's not going to keep shooting, stabbing and pummeling the creature forever - eventually he'll realize that he's wasting his time and just lock it up in his fortress or something.

Doom slayer does have the divinity machine so he’s probably connected to Davoth and hell fundamentally, he still overpowers an entire universe, actually several as hell had taken over other worlds.

Shy Guy, whenever someone sees it's face in whatever fashion goes mad with homicidal rage and makes a beeline for them, even if they're on the other side of the planet in order to kill them. It has ridiculously superhuman stats, but is nowhere near the top of the pecking order. Thing is, whenever he rages out a something he's incapable of killing, he becomes terrified, refuses to look at it and runs away.

They did once have 096 fight 682. IIRC, it ended with 682 heavily injured and really pissed off, while 096 apparently gave up and went back to sulking. So, it seems that 096 won't keep attacking forever if it can't win, or it can be discouraged by a formidable enough opponent.
@@RelativelyBest The problem with that is that there is almost no situation where that will happen. Pretty much the Doom Slayer and 682 are among the few it can't kill. And that fact is outclassed by the fact that pretty much everything else CAN be killed. And it could be an indirect. 096 is a problem that cannot be solved. That's what makes this video all the more satisfying. Not saying your wrong, because yes, 096 will back away from anything it can't kill, but it doesn't really matter whether it can or not if the Earth's population is basically chicken feed for 096.

Dude, your third paragraph is literally just the thing that I have been obsessed about ever since I came to know about elements of fictional fear (and scary nightmares) in my life : a being that doesn't fear scary monsters from fiction (movies, video games, cartoons, books, ...) like we do when we're sitting on our couch or laying on our bed. Some being that just emotionlessly says "No" to Fear with a big "F" while beating the shit out of it with it's bare fist or even a weapon (or just powerfully ignoring it and walk past it as if wasn't even here in the first place). In all honesty, i think the only person that could actually kill 096 and the “immortal” SCP’s would be the Slayer.
I dunno, he still uses regular guns against opponents that can be killed with guns. And we know that when he runs into opponents who can't be physically killed (like the Titans) he's smart enough to accept that and find some other way to neutralize them.
So if he fought 096 or, say, 682, then he's not going to keep shooting, stabbing and pummeling the creature forever - eventually he'll realize that he's wasting his time and just lock it up in his fortress or something.

SCP 096 can't be killed, at least not by any normal means. The Foundation has already tried that. So it doesn't matter how much damage the Slayer can dish out, 096 will just get up again.

They did once have 096 fight 682. IIRC, it ended with 682 heavily injured and really pissed off, while 096 apparently gave up and went back to sulking.
So, it seems that 096 won't keep attacking forever if it can't win, or it can be discouraged by a formidable enough opponent.

And that fact is outclassed by the fact that pretty much everything else CAN be killed. And it could be an indirect. 096 is a problem that cannot be solved. That's what makes this video all the more satisfying.
Not saying your wrong, because yes, 096 will back away from anything it can't kill, but it doesn't really matter whether it can or not if the Earth's population is basically chicken feed for 096.

There needs to be a mod made, for every single horror game out there, where you get to play as the DOOM SLAYER. I feel that it would be very therapeutic.

Honestly I would like to imagine that the SCP Foundation basically just handles containment transfers to Doomguy when they can't get NTFs to do it.
