How exactly did Genos expect implants to penetrate Saitamas skin? The only thing in the world that can is a certain gag that I think is in an OVA. It’s funny so I won’t spoil it lol
It IS different from any other episode.
Before, the anime was emphasizing that heroes usually cared more about strength than heroism. So Mumen Riden was the example of what it truly means to be a hero. Now, this anime has done what so many stories conveniently forget, that it is not a one way street. That heroism has entirely self-inflicted and potentially crippling costs without the strength to back it up.
If it weren't for Mumen Riders attempted "heroism", a great S Rank villain would not cause future death, chaos, and destruction, an S-rank Hero and associated hero group would all be OK, and everyone could debate the philosophical merits of heroism in peace. Instead, purely in the name of an ideological value (humans not fighting humans), massive damage may result.
Also, yes, its a bit dumb to have your trump card in a "hero guide". But do remember that heroes fight "monsters" who are largely not skilled or overly intelligent, and certainly wouldn't easily be able to just come across it or even think about something like that. It is a big oversight, but not totally non-understandable who heroes also try to be popular.
Also there is this idea that heroes are the symbol of power. I would say flexing all your moves in a magazine so your opponent can prepare to counter them only to have them roflstomped by the same moves anyway is the epitome of power in Japanese/Chinese/Korean media.
Even when Mumen doesn't interfere I doubt Garou would fall from Tank Top Master, I strongly believe he was waiting for it... he was gauging Tank Top's power and also his technique that's why he was waiting to Tank Top go loose and go all out to take advantage and redirect the momentum of Tank Top to his advantage.
I'd say without Mumen's heroism, Garou probably cut someone's legs or Mumen's legs for him to never be a hero again... Just like he did to Blue fire where Garou cut his hands...
Maybe a little softness of Garou was activated when he sees there's at least one person who cares to what really a hero is.
@@thefifth4669 Well, sure. But the main point being conveyed is the principle that, if someone is not strong enough, needlessly high minded principles cause unnecessary loses. It doesn't matter how much strength Garou actually had. What matters is that Mumen Rider's perception of the power dynamic turned out to be so far out that he effectively doomed the whole lot by distracting them. It is in a way a fitting flaw for Mumen Rider to have, since he is generally ridiculously weak compared to his opponents and relies on being lucky with other heroes arriving to help. This makes it a very interesting flaw, because he is preaching about high minded ideals to those heroes who have power, without any appreciation of the extra power necessary to have to fight while handicapping yourself in such a way. A flaw he doesn't see since the heroes being stronger and winning is just the natural series of events based on his personal life experiences.

The thing in Oppenheimer about igniting the atmosphere is nonsense. It's not a % chance but rather would need extra energy at every reaction and not lose energy. Don't worry about it lol.
It was a genuine concern during the development of the atomic bomb, though, and before the bombs could be greenlit, they had to calculate the ignition point of the atmosphere. Because as badly as we wanted a superweapon, we weren't willing to do it if it had even the smallest chance of ending all surface life.

Second season is more focused on other people than Saitama. It looks more fvcked up bc you see normal life of normal hero. Its not different from first season. You just see this from perspective that isnt stricte saitama related.

And here is where the Filler episodes being. The tournament is not cannon to the original One manga which takes way from the Garou arc screen time. It adds no value and I am thinking it is a placeholder until they got Mad House back to do all the battles in the Garou/Monster arc.

I think the show too, Mumen riders injuries seriously, Garo smashes his face to bits but when we next see him he just has a bandage but is bascially fine. Controversial take but they should have killed him or at least put him in a coma for a season (garo doesn’t seem to kill so you could use that as an argument against mumen dying)
I think the hero association has a very advanced medicine system, Since Suiryu, after the beating he receives from the dragon-level monster in the tournament, is seriously injured and without some teeth, but later he is shown to us as new.
