This tutorial did help to change my benchmark from 59% to 96%, but did not have any effect on render time (using slightly overclocked RTX 3060 12GB/Lumion 11) . . . so I'm not sure if it really matters what the benchmark says . .. perhaps it helped with navigation speeds, page loading, etc, but my 20 hour render project was exactly the same after I updated benchmark settings, restarted Lumion and re-rendered the same project..to me the benchmark is just a gauge to inform that you need faster hardware.....
I've learned about the Nvidia settings but that settings inside Lumion itself is hardly known. And it really did improve the performance. Amazing that I've never of anyone who shared this secret. You're a savior. Thank you!

You're welcome. Yup. If budget is not a concern, definitely upgrade. RAM helps with handling larger files. You have a good system. That shouldn't be an issue.

Hey man, thanks for the tips! Just wanted to ask, will adjusting the nvidia setting make the PC more loaded? I have a gf1660ti and at the lowest settings my PC's cooler is very loud when working in lumion, is there any risks for me after adjusting thesettings, or it will make it even more silent and help the PC work better in lumion?
Unfortunately, Lumion is gpu hungry. Nothing we can do about it but to have a better gpu and better cooling system, if we can afford it. That’s Lumion is best on a desktop
I tried this on my Omen 15 6th gen i7 4GB GTX 960m 2 years ago, it worked. But today I'm trying it on my 7th gen Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming i7 4GB GTX 1050 ti but no luck. What do I do?

Don't worry so much about the processor as Lumion is heavily dependent on the GPU. You have a decent processor. You're good to go. I used to have a 1st gen Threadripper with 16 cores and 32 threads. I barely reached pass the Recommended benchmark. I switched to 3rd gen Ryzen 9 with same number of cores and threads and got better result.

Hello, thanks a lot for this video. The First part was very usefull. But i don't understand the part where you lower the resolution of the lumion editor since gigantic pixels makes lumion smoother but not very usable too, and it change nothing with the rendering time. Anyway the first part helped me to reach 46% on the benchmark with my config (RTX 3080, Ryzen 5800x, 32 GB DDR4, System + Lumion on a 1 To SDD Pcie3 4x Mvne, Windows 11). I think my config should be able to give 80+ % with the benchmark (with 3/4 quality star and 100% resolution (1080x1920 monitor))but i don't really know the reason why it don't goes upper than 50%... maybe it does not like Windows 11. By the way thanks again for your video, very usefull.
