I think the competition in the category would be Kacey vs Brandi. Brandi's By the Way I Love You is such a great album as well. I know she writes her words. I know she has a 'camp' of songwriters and players. I know on the 'Golden Hour' album she plays acoustic guitar only in 3 tracks. It's common for female artists to have a writing camp who do all the music writing...but I also feel Kacey may also create at least some of the song 's basic chords along with the lyrics to give to the writing camp. I'm looking for the truth, but so far is elusive. I noticed when she was speaking to Elton John (see YT vid) she was mostly interested in lyrics writer Bernie Taupin. This was a strong clue. What do you say? Are you sure she writes her own music? If so how much? And if not, can she still be a genius?

Add to that, she is a very accomplished guitarist sings with the voice of an Angel, as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and has stage presence that is very endearing.
