Thanks, this answered all the questions had about this drain pan. I appreciate you taking the time to create this video.
You’re welcome I’m glad it helped you out. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Thank you for this video which makes it look doable easy. I have gathered everything for my first ever try to change the oil on my truck. The most complicated is to find the proper oil drain pan to not do a mess while disposing of also. I might get the 7 quarts one for space-saving. Hopefully, it's good quality too but I don't think it comes with the height adjustment pipes. My truck requires 6 quarts so I should be ok.
Great video dude, I had some questions about the usage and now I'm gonna pick one up from AZ.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video, Ive used it now on three different vehicles and the adjustable height is a nice feature when you are going from cars to SUVs and trucks. Thanks for watching and commenting!
simple but informative . Thanks for the vid!
Glad it was helpful!
Bought specifically to use on my Scion Tc, as I only have about 8" of height. I just don't use the extensions. It allows me to change my oil without jacking up the car at all.
What's the height without anything attached? Reason I ask is I'm going to use it to catch water overflow from my GreenStalk tower garden, which comes with a piece of drain hose.
Yep I just bought this getting ready to drain son's oil in his car and replace his oil pan it has a Crack in it just bought the car for 1500 all I gotta do is that and a passenger side caliper bracket that's it not too bad
Good luck on the repair! My oil changes are much cleaner since I started using this and it has held up well the last couple of years. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@midwestdad133 OK so I snapped 3 bolts off into the oil pan on the bottom of the block I'm letting it setup tonight with the right stuff red gasket maker and hopefully tomorrow they'll be no leaks don't want to have to take it apart again but I will if need be just have to get another gasket uughhhhh wasn't even torking on them just snug was all then snap times 3!!!
Looks promising. Do you still have it and use it or it broke or started leaking?
Thanks for watching! I do still have this and I have not had any issues with it leaking but I do make sure to put it on a rubber mat when I take it to the store to dispose of it just in case it has any drips after it’s been emptied. It works great and the ability to catch the drain plug does relay help to keep things much cleaner.
@@midwestdad133 Thanks, good to know. I will have to take a look at it in the store, to see if this will work for me or just the regular drain pan.
That looks easy enough, thanks
Yes it works well and cuts down on the mess I usually have. Thanks for watching & commenting!
