Harvey Mudd College, California

Undergraduate students at Harvey Mudd College are learning how their work will make an impact on society. Engineering majors learn by doing and gradate with a broad set of knowledge and skills that span multiple disciplines. The focus is on professional practice - through hands-on experiences in the classroom, research opportunities and a senior capstone, industry-sponsored clinic project. ASEE-TV captured all of the innovation during a recent visit to Claremont, California.

Harvey Mudd sounds amazing, finally, a school focused entirely on academics. but I wonder if I'll die of work overload there. but what an amazing, learning-oriented atmosphere

I was accepted to Mudd in 1990. It was 20 grand a year, back then.
