I always end up rewatching new and previous content and it's fantastic. While there's a popular "group" of RUclips shreddie, djenty, multi-stringy players, I don't really learn anything from them.

I understand that we need to be aware of it, if it happens.
But when it does happens, what to do? You did not elaborate on it
If you find you're able to get a good, fast picking motion but cannot translate it to practicing at lower speeds, then take the motion you use when at faster speeds and apply it to the slower practice.
For me, sometimes it helps to do the trem-picking for a few seconds before I start the exercise that's giving me trouble. It kind of "reminds" my muscles of what they're SUPPOSED to do, as opposed to what they THINK they should do.
@@captainedscythe Exactly! I'm always telling people to do that as it primes you for what you're going to be doing. Good job!
Hi Ben, when galloping in the low string my hand rest in the up body just up the string and I practice to avoid this but seems imposible to me, any advice?? Kind regards from barcelona.
Sounds like you have an inward hand angle. That's not a bad thing, it might just be the way your hand and arm want to work.
@@BenHigginsOfficial Yes yes, you use the right word, (sorry for my lack of english vocabulary...) Maybe is the way my hand and arm work, but I feel I use a lot of force and, also that position don´t let me go

No. It just means to check that your picking technique is not totally different when you're trying to practice a lick that you intend to play fast.
