Really nice playthrough 👍 I think I spotted a mistake at 35:00: the Marquise doesn’t rule 6 so she can’t recruit there; she would have put only two warriors in 1 and two in 12
can you play 1vs1 using a single bot (any bot from Clockwork expansion 2) vs another faction or do you have to use multiple bots vs one person opponent?
Oh dear, you made a mistake at 33 minutes by placing 2 bird cards into the decree. Only one card added may be a bird. Quite enjoyed the video; really helped me understand how to play the new bot.
@@levelupmeeples1294 Also at min 34:58, you should not have placed a warrior in clearing 6 (because they didn't rule there), and at 35:50 the warrior should have moved to clearing 9, but I don't think it would have mattered anyway
Wait Im so confused on the Move during escalated daylight for the mechanical? I thought it was move everyone but 3 warriors. Not move anyone who has more than 3 warriors in a clearing
Hey there! The rules read, "Move all but three warriors from each clearing.." which means that in each clearing that has more than 3 warriors, you should move the entire amount over 3. So if a clearing has 7, you should move 4; if a clearing has 4, you should move 1; and if a clearing has 3, you don't move. Hope that helps!
The build action on the Mech Marquise: if the build slots on the clearing with the most warriors are occupied, she instead builds in the next clearing were there is a free build slot?
The rule is that you need to evaluate only legal clearings for each action. If clearing(s) with most warriors have no empty spaces left for buildings, you evaluate clearings with second most warriors and so forth until you get to a ruled clearing with at least one free spot
Nope! Rules say cats set up first, but for turn order, section 5.1.1 declares it as random - Step 1: Assign Factions and Starting Player. Assign one faction to each player using any method. The viable factions at each player count are listed in the learning-to-play guide (page 22). Determine the starting player and seating order randomly. Each player takes their chosen faction board and all pieces, as listed on the back of the faction board.

Great playthtough. Thank you for this video!🙏
Fantastic walkthrough, thank you!
I couldn't cope with the wobbly camera
I think you cannot add two bird cards to eyrie decree (32:50) :-)

Ah! You are right. Fortunately, I do not think this would have changed the outcome of the game at this point, but thank you for pointing this out!

14:47 If there are no adjacent regions with enemy pieces, shouldn't you move to the clearing with the highest priority?
Whoops! Yes, that's correct - they should have moved to over to 5. Good catch!
@@levelupmeeples1294 isnt 2 the highest prio?
Nice video! Which solo boardgame is your favorite?
Thanks Stephane! I really enjoy both Root (lots of variability with the different factions) and Nemo's War.

Yep! That's correct. In clearing order per the rules.

Why do you start? Shouldnt the cats always start?
