    The way Elena responded to the question about Rangers feeling like they were the more talented team last year was slightly scary, I have to say.

    Nice to see some people play for Celtic actually putting some effort in. Unlike the fellas last night

      It’s hardly surprising when you have a much richer team in a much higher level league playing a less wealthy team in a lower level league.
      Until the system changes, it will all be about beating the lower ranked teams and hoping for the occasional shock result against the rich teams.

      @@christill Is it the same when you play the likes of St Johnstone, Motherwell, Dundee, Livingston, Ross County, St mirren, Dundee United, Hibs ?

    • @christill
      @christill 23 часа назад

      @@Trlesln Absolutely. Players should be ranked by FIFA or UEFA and a system should be designed in which the players are evenly distributed among all the teams. And including a new system of pay which eliminates the crazy salaries and pays players a flat rate based on their rating (platinum, diamond, gold, silver etc.)

    • @Trlesln
      @Trlesln 23 часа назад

      @@christill it will just never happen, that means clubs who work hard for success don’t really benefit from the rewards

    • @christill
      @christill 23 часа назад

      @@Trlesln Presumably the allocation wouldn’t be random because players would have to fit within a system. And a team like Celtic with a lot of history and fans would presumably be able to have an earlier pick of diamond or platinum players than many other teams including Scottish teams. And presumably they’d still have the best training facilities and so on, so that would attract players. Historically successful teams would still have an advantage. But it would be far less than now.
      As far as whether it could happen. I do think most football fans never question the system as it is, and they’re generally not the sharpest tools in the shed. But I wouldn’t say never. It’s possible that a desire for equality and fan owned teams will come to the fore. Just look at the reaction to the European super league concept. Fans hate corporate greed. And they shut it down instantly.
