People keep saying this version is better because it’s got “more accurate character”. I believe the description they are looking for is that “Eile’s flow of inflection better fits the character and story being told and puts the right levels of emphasis on the key shifts and lyrics.”

Yeah I agree and it's no insult to the other singer, but the inflection in Eilies voice better fits the intensity of this event. The emotion the anger, it just flows so much better in the version.
The other singer, I can't remember her name, her voice just doesn't feel the same. It doesn't flow as well. She a great singer yes, but her voice is not suited to this song

Except I'm pretty sure Kristen Calvin did the singing here... not Eile. That's what it says on Ponyphonic's channel anyway.
Edit: I take it back, there are apparently two versions. I personally think that Kristen's is a phenomenal performance as well, and that it has more emotion if not better vocals.
james757live this is Kristen’s cover (extended) with Eily’s vocals at the end speaking as Nightmare Moon
i feel Ellie-Monty did better, no hate to Kristen Calvin, but Ellie has more of a "Luna" singing voice sorta similar to Kazumi Evans
