The British were aiding the Turks by reporting Greek positions to them. Not that they'd ever admit it though. This whole invasion was orchestrated by the CIA.
@@quinnjohnson9750 They "Have" them as the bases are still there, but we pretty much kept out of the conflict and actively prevented Greek Cypriot forces from entering our bases

I don’t remember what they were doing there exactly, (peacekeepers perhaps?), but I know they were neutral in this one.
