- Unboxing my new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classique reference 250.8.86. This watch was purchased new in 2000 in Milan Italy. Afterwards, it was worn seldomly as can be seen from the condition of the original ostrich strap. A truly beautiful and classic masterpiece.
So perfect I love it. I prefer it without the moon or seconds or any other complication - just looks great like this

Genuine size case like first reverso, I think is perfect and better than current models for a man with a small-medium wrist.
The current Reverso Classic Medium is around 40mm in length and 24.5mm in width. Pretty much a perfect size.
@@Utoob8 very similar to classique, classique is 38mm x 23mm (like first Reverso).

250.8.86 is the model and my wrist goes back and forth from 6.5 to 6.75”. If I were you I’d get the 270.8.86 Grande Taille instead (I’ve since sold this watch and purchased a Grande Taille).

It’s the Classique size (same as the 1933 original). 33mm by 23mm I believe.

@@TheRealOriginalDiegoM well.. I went to look today for the classic mono face but it felt a little small and not thick enough almost as if it was for a woman… then she showed me the ‘REVERSO CLASSIC
MONOFACE SMALL SECONDS’ which actually felt nicer but I didn’t like the second hand at 6 initially even though it felt better on the wrist…
However I’ve seen a 252.8.47 on chrono 24 and it’s a 2010 model but 1/3 of the price… not sure which to get. The brand new one or the chrono one which I have no idea how it fits and how thick it is
