Just put a deposit down to have a 2019 street scrambler shipped to me from another state, found it used for 6,500 bucks so I thought it was a pretty good price! Can't wait for it to get here. Luckily for me I'll be using this one as my secondary bike, so the fuel range isn't a big issue for me since I'll just be riding it around town vs taking it on a long trip. Look forward to seeing more of your customizations in the future so I can get some ideas for mine. Ride safe!
@@matusknives That's a lot of bikes to consider lol! All pretty good bikes. Scram 411 seems pretty underpowered compared to the rest of them on your list
@@tomoates8568 Indeed! But today I visited several dealers just to sit on some of these bikes. The V7 is really cool, comfortable sitting position, but the closest dealer is not particularly close. I sat on (not in a good shape) W650 - that bikes just feels like from a different time period. I definitely need to get on W800. I will also have a look at the W800 Cafe version. The Ingterceptor did not quite charm me in the shop - the motor is quite wide - the break is a bit 'hiding'. Seat did not feel good. Again - Í will test ride one. The Scram 411 would be a lot cheaper than any other of the bikes and I simply like it. Plus the sitting position for me felt great. So it could be a great bike to start and see how it works for me. I have also tried some 900 Triumphs - and the Speed Twin and T100 just felt great. But those would be to most expensive options it would seem.
Regarding the limited gas. LIND Triumph of London does a fat tank mod with their triumphs scrambler 900s and it looks spectacular you should consider it!
I've got a 2020 scrambler 900. Absolutely love it, great video as always. Still surprised there isn't more publicity from other channels on this bike for how great it is.
I had no clue this bike had only a 100 mile range. I was thinking my 160 mile range on my 1200 was rough. I was kinda thinking 200 would be the sweet spot.
It probably truly has a range of about 120ish miles but I've never pushed it. I just stop when the light comes on. I'll likely pack gas and film a true range test soon.
Hey! I've been taking a few ideas from your videos. At first, I put the bar-end mirrors, but that’s a really bad idea in case of a fall, I need to find mirrors like yours 😅 By the way, have you noticed your bike pulls to the right when you let go of the handlebars? The dealer told me it could be because of the weight of the exhaust, but it’s really annoying.

Congrats! You'll love it. More videos coming soon! Thanks for watching!
The 900 scrambler is on my short list. love the look and sound.
I love it. What else are you considering?
@ Kawasaki W800, Moto Guzzi V7, Royal Enfield: Interceptor, Bear, Scram 411. A lot will depend on the budget.

How about the heat exhaust for a pillion?

I have a Scrambler 400X and it pulls to the right. I assume it’s just because of an increase in weight on that side as you said.
@@samtagget I guess I'll have to learn to live with it
went to look at the 400 for the wife , she left with the 900 😂
Awesome! I love that for her. 👏🏾
