Well this Muggshot certainly isn't shy. Ok so we know he's here somewhere, but how are we supposed to find him? Mesa City is a BIG place! Given that he's a bulldog...it seems only reasonable to assume he'd choose to live in... a giant fire hydrant. That's some sound logic Sly!
A rocky intro to find within a city on top of a plateau. Though not welcoming due to the presence of thugs and desolation, don’t let it hold you back. Be wary of the various traps.
Sly: What's with those flashing lights? Bentley: The latest in high-tech security: electronic floor sensors. Step on them, and you're a goner. Sly: Nice touch. Bentley: They're safe to walk on while flashing, but it also means they're about to switch to a different sector.
God, I love this game. It can be annoying at times (I first played the second game, then played this one, believing it would be the exact same, and I died a whole lot because of that), but in the end, the experience is worth it. I hated the Master Thief Sprints, though.
I just said by the end of it, "Screw it. I got all the clue bottles and the vaults. I don't need the Thief Sprints. I got 100% in my eyes. I'm done. Onto the second game!"
The people making the crossover game would also have to come out with an exciting original story that's fun, makes sense and explains how all these characters could all exist together in the same universe!
Yo, yo, yo! It's da boss! You know, I've been forced to admit that maybe driving everyone outta town, while necessary to set up shop, mighta taken a hit outta da business. So, now I hope you lugs would be obliged to any visitors that come here to lose their money at my casino, BUT, I got a reliable tip that a cop might be snooping around the operation! So from now on, greet any "visitors" you see with a hail a LEAD!!!! CAPICHE?!
One of the main reasons it would be so hard to make this game a real thing is that people would have to get permission from the owners of all these great franchises before they could even consider on going through with it in the first place.
That's a good idea, PJTuri Show! A huge crossover game with Sly, Jak, Ratchet, Crash and Spyro would be a dream come true, even though it's very unlikely to happen! But if it ever does happen, then me and all my friends are gonna buy the game and play it whenever it comes out!
Striketh the button with the round geometrical object emblazed uponeth
You mean jump and press the Circle button?
That’s a rough translation.
Always loved the aesthetic and music for Mugshots world. I found myself wishing this game was extremely open so you could explore the entire city.
Pooky1991 imagine if sly 1 could be redone in style of 2 and 3 and have the worlds be completely open and not linear level style
Dan O is there news of that? Or is it just speculation?
Same
It sucks balls that this game ain't open world genre
@@jamariuswalker1712 oh come on man. Imagine making a open world game for 2002. I liked how it wasn't so open world in Sly 1.
One of the best soundtracks in the game.
Agreed. That bass line has some serious funk in it.
Yes it was I remember this it reminds me of this song called
"Good thing I know Navajo code talk."
My favorite heist in the whole game. I was obsessed with Mesa City when I was a kid. Even to the point in believing it was a real place.
It actually is a real place based off in Utah.
Sly cooper, jak and daxter, ratchet and clank and kingdom hearts top childhood games
And best music.
+The Increase yup and the best ps2 games of all time
+Noah Thomas +Crash & Spyro
+Noah Thomas Dont forget: Crash Bandicoot.
Spyro, Crash, and Sly, in that order, were the games I developed the best connection and most nostalgia with/for.
Ashif Hakik, your music will always be alive in Sly Cooper fans hearts. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent. RIP Ashif Hakik.
I forgot how awesome this theme was.
Mesa City, Utah.

This is one of my favorite tracks from Sly 1, the whole soundtrack is very catchy! I love the bass in this one XD
I would love to see a whole movie about Mugshots time in Mesa City!
Same. Me too!
Because of this level, i couldn't stop thinking about going to Utah, where Mesa City is and was inspired by!
0:10 Oh God, what have I gotten myself into?
You know shits gonna go down when you here this...
hear*
Mesa City is my favoutite level of the gamd
Sly: What's with those flashing lights?
Bentley: The latest in high-tech security: electronic floor sensors. Step on them, and you're a goner.

I actually did all the Thief sprints like 3 years ago. Was a pain to the ass i must say. I tried some of those sprints like 10-15 times :DDD
I actually really loved the sprints, kept me on the edge of my seat
i played this game so many times, i can do the sprint easily, some with 20sec + left due to unknown shortcuts etc. :D

that bass goes in
I always wanted to go out of bounds and just walk into the massive desert
press the circle to enter the vault code!!
I agree with you, ScreenBlaster13! This music is very catchy! It really matches the level, too!
Hey Sly I thought you said Mesa City was going to be loud and busy. This looks more like a ghost town!
One of my top 3 favorite tracks in the series.
Someone has got to put Sly, Ratchet, Jak, Crash, and Spyro together into an awesome game!
The first three were together in “playstation move heroes”.
PJTuri Show that’s the most ambitious crossover
I call them the "PlayStation Platforming Icons".
One of my favorite songs in the soundtrack
Best workout music ever. Trying to get as big as muggshot.
Just don't skip leg day.
Every time you get spotted 0:00 be sure to reset to the beginning of the song. AND BE MORE CAREFUL IN THE FUTURE!
I always loved the soundtrack to this game the most out of the series
"To landeth safely upon diminutive points, leapeth lively and presseth the triggering device with the round geometrical object emblazoned upon it."
Makes me feel like a boss no lie
Good times.
This music made me feel like a thief going in a dangerous territory.

notice how the music is a mix of raleigh and mugshot, as you enter the next world. same with mugshot/mz ruby , the intro music is a mixture.

Jak don't go with a bunch a kids games so quit saying that shit
Mesa city muggshot
I will say, while I’m not a big fan of this game’s music…this track definitely stands out amongst the rest.
Takie słodkie i piękne 👍 🖤 👍
Mesa City! :)
SOUNDS LIKE DJ SHADOW What Does Your Soul Look Like (Pt. 4)
who else would tip toe to the beat?
Press the circle to enter the vault code
Carmelita disliked this.
