  • There lies a bouldering Mecca in the middle-of-nowhere, Tennessee, just 30 minutes north of Chattanooga - Stone Fort AKA Little Rock City. Beautifully sculpted sandstone masterpieces ranging from Very Very Easy (V0-) to very difficult (V13?). I was able to spend about 5 here and put down some of the most classic hard moderates:
    Red House Extension v8
    Tennessee Thong v7
    Spyro Gyro v7
    Shotgun v6
    Manute Bol v6
    Celestial Mechanics v7
    Fat Cat v5
    Olive's Oil v6
Art of the Vogi - left v5
Big shouts out to my ma and pops for spotting and camera work.

Loved this video! Even though its so hard to compare it was fun to see you get on some East Coast Sandstone and see what you could pull on compared to other routes you have already posted. Im a Southeast guy with high hopes of bigwalling in the future. If you are over here for awhile and want to checkout some granite go to Rumbling Bald in NC. Its my favorite boulder field by a longshot

Cheers bud! Sandstone climbing is my favorite single pitch & bouldering around. Unfortunately, there aren't too many sandstone big walls.

Sick edit! I was hoping to see the actual top for Olives Oil V6, not the top for Thundafrumunda. Unfortunately the line tops straight up without using the right side of the arete as per the guide. I’ve been working the top on and off for a while now, and only seen one person do it correctly. Hope you can make it back out and give it a try. It’s freaking hard!!

Steep sport, hard trad, and sweet boulders? Shocked I haven't heard of it before! Will have to check out Moore's wall.

If you’re talking about stone fort, you might as well talk about horse pens 40
