Hello, can you make a video explaining the effects on handling with different seat flexibility ? Everybody is talking about the Tillet T11VG and I wanted to understand better. Thanks
I'm a dad who is just about to buy my 9 year old son his first kart and I'm having to watch videos to learn about kart maintenance and I don't mind getting my hands dirty but have to say this is absolutely terrifying me the amount of setting up and maintenance that is needed to get something ready that looks like a shopping trolley that was run over and squashed by a 40 ton lorry and then someone said you know what that would make a great race kart let's stick a engine, seat and wheels on it.
Been a kart owner for a year. If you’re lazy it’s not for you. Be prepared for constant tear downs of chassis and cleaning. Constantly checking parts. And constantly lifting the kart up on a trolly or trailer. It is a lot more work than it seems.
@@ForzaWiz11 I've actually taken to it a lot better than I thought, I did get my son his first kart and yes your absolutely correct about the having it up and down on the trolley all the time, cleaning, emptying the radiator of the water after every race day ect. I'm now comfortable and confident with changing the gearing for certain tracks and also had to carry out repairs from a couple of collision he's had from karts spinning in front of him and the collision been unavoidable, but all this is to be expected sometimes. I'm now finding myself tinkering with set ups to help him gain that couple of extra tenths per lap. Seriously can't get over how much I'm enjoying the mechanic side of it now, but got to admit this sport is expensive.
A kart part dealer we know whose been around for a while suggests we do it. In saying that, if you look at the bigger teams not a single one of them will do it. Having no suspension, it doesn’t vary much at all with extra weight (the driver).

Quick tip on putting the pieces together. Use a t-bar from the bottom to line up and hold everything. Then slide the king pin in from the top.
1:05 let's not forget, the V8 Supercars in Australia tend to run quite a bit of negative camber
just a tad

Thank you for making this series. So helpful!
Check/adjust the tie rods after making caster camber changes?

That is F1 2020 menu theme in the background if I am not wrong

9:33 - Or jump into your wet weather specific kart
Why remove the wheel/rim from the hub if your going to take the hub off anyway?
Gives easier access to the hub nut.
Thank u bro ❤
4.0 Caster 2.0 Camber and 1.0 toe out
Would too much grip affect anything at all if so what effects?
too much front grip causes oversteering and/or loose backend, and also more or uneven tirewear

How important is it to adjust toe and camber with the driver in the kart or weight?
