That hiss you hear in the background is actually OPs PC cooking some bacon.
Its one of those things that really drives me up the wall with these extra foliage and "Skyrim reforested" mods, they try to make Skyrim a temperate rainforest, with buzzing insects and so forth. It's mean to be a bleak, subpolar landscape with a few splotches of pine forest.
@@ValleysOfRainSame here! I cannot understand why one would use those mods at all, nice graphic is great but with the same essence and nature!
@@ValleysOfRainyeah Skyrim is often described as a frozen wasteland. Sure it’s got some pockets of beauty, but the real beauty is meant to be harsh and comes from the rough climate. Kind of like the north in game of thrones.

The only reason a modern PC would have a tough time with this would be because of poor optimization and bad scripting conflicts between mods. Which, to be fair, is probably true because total conversion mod packs almost always have both those problems

That fog just appearing and disappearing instantly killed all immersion for me
Yeah that looked awful.
There's a mod for that.
It looks less like a fog and more like mist. As in I don't know if he intended to make Skyrim look like a tropical rainforest lmao
There's two types of people in this world. One, they upgrade their electronic devices to play newer, worse, even shittier games. The other ones just so they can run Skyrim in their mods.

Can't see 5 feet in front of you because someone decided it was a good idea to turn Skyrim from a Tundra into a Cretaceous jungle.
Enhances FPS at least
It was a great idea. Tropical Skyrim is fun too. I've never heard of funky fungal Skyrim or exotic alien world Skyrim but that'd be fun too.
@@wastrelperv That's just OG Cyrodiil / Morrowind bruv.
@@Oera-B Exactly.
@@Oera-B I really wish we got the more exotic Cyrodiil. Not just the natural world but the people, fashion, and architecture too. Oblivion is charming in its own often goofy way but it's underwhelming too. And it makes the Bretons and High Rock seem redundant. Though I wouldn't be opposed to a complete redesign of Bretons and High Rock.
For the Bretons I would prefer less Medieval western European and something more out there. Not out of distaste for Medieval Europe, far from it, but because it really feels out of place among the other cultures, too similar to cultures/periods of our world. Just me personally. Also as silly as it sounds to some, for greater representation. We already have the Nords and Imperials more or less representing Nothern, Western, Central, and Southern Europe. And each race having had recent games tied to their province it'd be harder now to change that. Not necessarily a good idea as the Imperials are descended from the Nedes as well so they can't be too different.
I could see Bretons becoming more inspired by the Balkan peoples or the Roma or Jewish tribes or even American Indians. They could keep the aspect of quarrelsome petty kingdoms with medieval fantasy inspirations but they'd need to have far from historical medieval fashions, something that embraces the aesthetics of whatever cultures they ended up being inspired by. Most Elder Scrolls races are a cocktail of cultures, the Bretons should have a less historically cohesive inspiration.
Or Bretons could stay closer to their current inspiration by fully embracing a tribal Celtic barbarian theme. Redheads all around and lots of bizarre hairstyles, braids galore. Since they're a mix of many Nedic peoples, a darker complexion and less stereotypical caucasian features would be appreciated. The Reachmen featured in Skyrim are a nice direction for the Bretons but of course only one loosely organized culture within the great mixing pot. Bronze skinned, blue-eyed redheads with hooked noses and braided Mohawks covered in woad. That'd be more fun and fitting for the Elder Scrolls I would think. Definitely keep them as the magic focused humans of course.
Tldr; I really don't care much for Medieval western European Bretons and High Rock, especially since Oblivion's Cyrodiil made that redundant.
Elder scrolls 6 devs better take notes from modders. otherwise we are all just gonna keep playing playing Skyrim
they should remake skyrim, not rerealsing fully remake it with new graphics and stuff
@@Terraw77yeah, thats not gonna happen. they already made so much money from skyrim special edition and the minor tweaks they made that a full on remake isn’t even worth the cost & effort that it would take.
I don't know. It looks amazing, but somehow it doesn't feel like TES anymore.
Nah, modders would just take the new ES as a new playground to make the game we should've gotten

@@S0L12D3 depends on what specs you are talking about, this thing probably requires alot of vram and raytracing support. Not just baby raytracing but big boi ray tracing; it is not very easy to run. Because of the raytracing, meaning amd cards, will get eaten alive in this exact setup the guy in this video is using. So, "up to date" does not always mean everything is possible, once again. Auto installing a modlist is the way. Little to no control over the mods you get, but easily worth the trade-off of trying to mod yourself (at least for me). The last time i tried modding my Skyrim, got to around 200 mods and the game started doing weird things like purple textures, slow scripts, and loading issues.
