    They should have laid a wire mesh on the blocks prior to casting the concrete to give it extra durability. Hopefully more people are getting aware of the "rib and block" system. Its been used for ages in other jurisdiction but now finding its way into Ghana.

      You can also waste money and put 16mm iron rods on the entire flow if you want. Total WASTE

    Apart from saving money from decking using the hallow blocks, what are the other differences between yours and the traditional iron rods?

      -Entire process took 10days
      -Savings on iron rods
      -Less cement used
      -Less wood
      -Can start building two days after casting
      -Weight is less than traditional method. Less stress on foundation
      -Btw 20% to 30% Savings compared to traditional

      @@kojoblk I think you re 100% right given this is a residential property and this formula works better, I’ve already done the traditional way for 2 houses, I was contemplating with this method and iron rods but I think I’d have saved money doing it this way, hope you don’t get a leakages or any issues with this. Thanks for sharing
