He lulled me out, trippin on his instrument, then got me up and gurating when he started playing theme songs from TV WESTERNS Rawhide, Bonanza Cheyene,etc , etc.,LOVE what he’s doing and how interacts with people!!! I'm in tears! I was kind of caught off-guard cause this song meant a lot to me too and I haven't listened to it in years. Your ability to improvise and learn a song in an instant still surprises me. But this I realized-your covers/improvs, they're of songs you never heard before, for this they'll never be entirely accurate when you play them on the spot, but they create a different kind of feeling altogether: it's kind of like memories (for those who've known the songs) being translated and expressed into music. It's like holding onto feelings and melodies that have begun to fade or become vague over the years. For you, it's piecing together and trying to find the right melodies to songs you don't know, and you do it so casually and make it seem easy; but what it sounds like is...it sounds like the sharp razor of love trying to gnaw at the chains of time-it's true nostalgia manifested in music. And I can't think of a higher test of skill and musical sensibility. Bravo, man! Much love and respect.

Ever now and then when I'm in a mood, I look up on Spotify, Jim Reeves and his 'Twelve Songs of Christmas'.
