    Summoned servitor is unique. You can play only one at time. BTW you make killer content. Love your videos.

      What is with this recent trend in the last two expansions of totally nondescript, unique assets? It's still a great card, but the ceiling gets a little lower. Thanks for the heads up, and the kind words.

      @@RatherIncoherent I'm still pissed that i got tricked by true magic. An recently i got tricked by haste not having unique mark but the description contained the limit.

    First? :^O
    But also: I recently played a true solo run with Norman through Edge of the Earth. Second time playing that campaign, but first time playing Norman.
    I went for a skill-heavy Astronomical Atlas build. Made the mistake of purchasing two copies of Occult Theory, only to subsequently learn about its dis-favorable interaction with Astronomical Atlas, Livre d'Ebon, and Practice Makes Perfect. Ouch! Card still performed fine though.
    Following Journey to the Forgotten Peaks, I realized my Norman needed more mobility. Otnly wo Shortcuts was making those big maps feel really big. Pouring over my cards, I eventually stumbled upon Summoned Servitor and coming to the same conclusions as you in the video. I can absolutely confirm that combining the wings of night, eyes of flame, armored carapace, and extra action upgrades is a winning set-up. Having my servitor flying around during City of the Elder Things and Heart of Madness made exploration and clearing numerous locations much easier.
    As a player new to optimization, it feels really good to have identified the same synergy as you! You're a fantastic optimizer, and I think watching your videos has started to get me thinking about cards in a similar way.

    Man, quick favor, which one is the song that is playing at 8:34 ? I went for a couple songs in the list from Incompetech but there are too many. Or only the ones marked as Jazz could be this one?

      Everything in the custom track I use as background music was from the jazz category, although I did balance the audio levels and cut out dead space to get it better as a consistent backdrop. That song is Kool Kats.

      @@RatherIncoherent Thank you! I find that song very disturbing and disonant to my ears but somehow I like it and now I'm gonna play it while I'm on The House Always Wins/Fortune and Folly, etc

      My bad lol. I'm always editing myself at 2x speed. I don't know how either.

    Very good guide, thank you. I love Norman and his dabbling in forbidden magics, so try this I shall!
    BTW, how do you make your ArkhamDB background black (Dark mmode or something)?

    • @RatherIncoherent
      @RatherIncoherent  Год назад +2

      I use an addon for Firefox called "Dark Reader" that attempts to put websites into dark mode, even when they don't have one. Doesn't always work, but it does for most things, including Arkham db.
