It always gets me when they're an older couple. Like either they found each other later in life or they waited that long to be able to get married. And then I start bawling.

When my partner of 29 years and I got married in December we were both pretty relaxed about the whole thing. As the celebrant asked me to repeat after him .... I lost it! The emotion of finally being able to say the words in front of our friends and families. One of the best days of our lives. Love wins every time 😍🥰
Haha me too. My husband and I eloped to Maine 6 yrs ago. I was so calm cool and collected until the vows. I thought I was going to lose my mind XD. 9-7-13 so far so good. Congrats to you and your husband xo
My beloved irreplaceable partner of 47 years went down on his knees 12 years ago and asked me to marry him. The feeling of finally legalizing our relationship was one of the highlights of our life together. We loved one another so deeply and never stopped telling one another that until he passed away on May 8th, 2018. His last words before slipping into a coma were 'I love you'. I'm SO happy for everyone in these wonderfully emotional photos. Love one another like there is no tomorrow!

Ours was a bitter sweet celebration. I married my long term partner of 15 years almost 2 years ago. My mum and dying sister gave me away on the day.
