Funny thing is that he auditioned for the role of Captain America and Emily Blunt was almost Black Widow. And they are both a couple and had a kid just like cap and widow in the comics. Funny how things turned out
I notice with the creatives that the happier you they are outside, the more frightening their creation is. Maybe thats why a quiet place is such a good movie. John showcases the fear, power, and creativeness of parents to protect their loved ones and the lengths they'd go to do it.
I hate scary movies too, but I was obsessed with this one! It's only horror in that it makes you terrified about what you would do if you and your family were in this situation. Definitely check it out!

Packed house preview last night, and amazingly not a single whisper could be heard ruining the first 20 minutes as the story began almost completely silently. Really enjoyed the film, and when I got home just like Jimmy I needed a brain palate cleanser -- I watched 2 episodes of "Mike Tyson Mysteries". :)
I cried while watching and I was sitting there hiding my face bc I didn’t want anyone to know how much “that scene” hurt me. Such a great movie! I was sitting there completely silent during and after the movie.
