TATA NEXON EV MAX RANGE ON HIGHWAY | | @120Km/hr कितना चलेगी हाईवे पे ??

We have tested the TATA NEXON EV MAX on 60/80/90/100 &120 speed under following condition.
On Manesar Kundali Highway
AC at 22 Deg / Cel
Regen Level 1
Cruise Control mode drive
4 Person on board
Out side temp 15 to 17 Deg / Cel
Econ Mode drive
result shown are tentative as lot of other factors make difference like
1) Air pressure of tyres
2) Outside wind speed and direction
3) Elevation of road
4) Outside temperature
5) Charging mode Fast or home charging

At 120kmph range drops to 3.06km/kWh. At 100 it is 5.68km/kWh. Very informative.

Thank you for this wonderful effort, easily the best on Indian RUclips. I am sharing below the figures I got, assuming 38.7 kWh usable capacity, based on the wh/km readings that were visible in your test. Most of the figures are close to the figures given by you based on battery percentage, but the 90 kmph test result is very different. Please see below:
60 kph 100 wh/km 387 km
80 kph 135 wh/km 287 km
90 kph 154 wh/km 251 km
100 kph 180 wh/km 215 km
120 kph 260 wh/km 150 km

There are two/three main aspects that will affect range at high speeds:
- Motor running at high rpm (Yes even electric motors have efficient rpm band)
lack of gearing, which prevents keeping the motor at best rpm at speeds.
- SUV shape not having the best aero design puts too much wind resistance.

Yes , I have checked and found the effect of air resistance in EV.
When I drove car behind the bus for approx 10 kms it gives average of 4 kms /unit.

And above 90-100 the resistance is exponential, Aptera team says at highway speeds 100-110 67% of the energy goes to fight wind. If the vehicle is aerodynamic then that much energy can be used for transport.

please make video of full real world range test at 65-70km/hr speed on Highway with cruise.
Put all your settings same ....
only make one change
.... front tyres pressure 33 & rear tyres pressure 35 i am pretty sure you can extract maximum real world range on 65kmph with this tyre pressures.

it would take 5 recharging stops to run the car on delhi mumbai highway at 80km/hr in ev with 250km range, thats 16 hours traveling 1300km plus 10 hours to fast charge car on 5 stops. not good!
Total 24+ hours in EV.

Sir, On highway EV is supposed to be used for short trips like 300 to 400 kms where you need to charge only once .
