    Thing is the stud fountain is pretty much useless when you finally get to the point where you're able to build it.

      True but I feel like that’s the case with most Lego games. There never seems to be a reward for 100% completing EVERYTHING considering stud fountains are normally only tied to the gold bricks. However although I’ve yet to reach it, I know many have said by the time they got to almost 100%, they only had the x2 and x4 multipliers and just use the stud farm to max out the stud counter at 4 billion and get the remaining multipliers

    Maybe the reward was the friends we made along the way.

    When I got 99 Gold Bricks, I just hung around the stud fountain and ended up with 80 million studs.

      @@NikiWinProd Using multipliers, it took about ten to fifteen minutes.

    I got the game on GameCube this past Saturday and have been playing the hell out of it. I grew up with The Complete Saga on the Xbox 360 and 100% completed that game some time ago.
    The first few hours I had the game was spent playing the levels in story mode (I decided to explore everywhere in the levels like I used to do when I was younger and broke everything to get studs). In these last 3 days, I managed to get up to about 55% completion, the x2 multiplier, and everything from episode 4 (except the super stories which I’m saving for last). Although TCS is the complete and definitive version (especially considering many of the quality of life changes), I’ve really enjoyed playing through this one
    Also, there’s an extra called “Use old save” where if you have save data of LSW1 (or in the case of the Xbox 360 spend $1 (since LSW1 was never on the 360)), you can play as pretty much all of the unlockable characters from the first game

    I swear I've also seen a video of someone playing as General Grievous after 100% Lego SW 2

    I remember on PS2 you could transfer your characters from one game to another one, if you had a save. So that video you saw with Grievous might me that the player transfered his characters from first game to second.

    why didn't you just use the stud fountain for studs instead of replaying levels?

    • @TheGamingCh
      @TheGamingCh  Месяц назад +1

      To be honest, I couldn't be bothered to wait around and do nothing while I earned studs. I thought it would take a while to get the amount of studs I needed so I preferred to play through a level to get all the studs I required.

    • @DavidSavy
      @DavidSavy Месяц назад +1

      @@TheGamingCh it can take a while. But if you already have X2 and x4 it takes you 7 minutes to get enough studs to buy x6. Then 2 minutes to get x8. Thirty seconds to get x10. A little bit of time, but only 9mins and 30 seconds. Did it today actually

    As a kid my brother and I had to decide whether to get Lego star wars the original triology or Lego star wars the complete saga. Because we confused the complete saga with the first lego star wars game, we got the original triology. But it was pretty nice anyways. I wonder now, why we didnt get the other one later...

      You thought The Complete Saga was the first game? Why would TT Games remake it with only half the levels and market it as a sequel?
