- Siju Iluyomade, a pastor and wife of the Idowu Iluyomade, a senior pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Lagos State, marked her 60th birthday in a grand style on Sunday.
The star-studded birthday celebration was held at Eko Hotels in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
Distinguished guests included Nigerian monarchs, prominent media personalities, and entertainers, creating a vibrant atmosphere at the birthday bash.
Some of the guests at the event included Nigerian economist Tony Elumelu, media personality Toke Makinwa, comedian Ali Baba, singer Kenny Saint Brown, billionaire industrialist Rasaq Okoya and his wife, Shade.
However, the pastor’s birthday seems to stir up more controversy than just a mere celebration, as one of the booked performers for Pastor Siju Iluyomade’s birthday party was Nigerian singer Flavour N’abania.
Videos circulated online showing Flavour singing on stage performing while Mrs Iluyomade dances in joyful cheer alongside her guests.

The twisting of truth and shifting of grounds on what is right and wrong is what brought Nigeria to this point. We copy nations ((Western nations) who have lost value on all fronts and the aged ones among them are crying out that their nation is going down the drain. I've been wondering what is been feed to people in churches nowadays. There is no more difference btw the worldly people and the saints of Christ. The truth of this lack of difference abound in our society.
Wether we like it or not the way Pst Siju celebrated her birthday didn't glorify God at all (you can argue with your bible). The Nigerian church had failed in her duty of showcasing Christ and His kingdom to the humanity in gross darkness. What a shame!!!

A Pastor, Pastors Wife, Ministers, Workers in Church, more importantly are representatives and whatever they do as representing Christ and the 'Pulpit', in church or outside the church seemingly 'validates' their actions, transmits those actions as valid, meaning it’s okay to do it. The consequences are that you loose every moral ground to raise a voice of caution or objection. If eating meat will cause your brother to sin, then please don't. We are grappling with consequences of our moral values and religious landmarks that have been watered down 😢. Thank you name sake 😊 for speaking the truth.
