I usually like my keyboards nice and quiet, but *damn* does that keymacs sound nice.
Interesting to see how much of those they actually sold. They look nice and very cool to have all those extra buttons. But wtf the price, I will stick to cheap crap, at least if it breaks or acquires too much crumbs inside you don’t care that much about it.
what is an emac? i googles them but emacs looks like old apple macs? but the video reviews are quite recent. this reviewer also mentioned emacs a lot therefore making me assume people still use them?
Emacs is a type of text editor program. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emacs There is no relation to the apple eMac as far as i know.
The people who made the first emacs programs used keyboards with a similar layout as the Keymacs, so it is better suited for it.
That space bar sounds nuts!
Could u recommend any clicks switches that sound good I have blues, I have tried tactile but the numb is t enough and want some good sounding clickies
🤘THONKY TO THE MAX!!!🤘
No Buckling spring sound comparison?
would love to see another video of this keyboard being outfitted with genuine alps instead of matias!
simbollax keyboard?
This looks really cool, although I really wish they made a full keyboard layout of this for Windows, especially with the arrow keys and numpad.
gorgeous on all levels.
Why is this scratch city so utterly expensive, though? Is the distinct scratch part of the charm?
Truly a goatee keyboard of all tme.
jump is mouse wheel what you on about?
What a nice respite from the *thock* obscessed modern keyboard community.
As much as I love a nice thock, click and clack add so much to the experience.
When do we get the vim version
It's a shame the modifier keys aren't printed, I mean isn't the keyboards whole point the million billion modifier keys?
What a crazy amazingly beautiful keyboard. The keycaps alone are incredible. "A love letter" indeed. And my god does it sound amazing. I don't think I can deal with the Symbolics layout (I am just too wedded to the IBM Model M layout) but other than that, I can totally see why someone would pay that much money for this goddess of a keyboard.
Love the ball shape caps.
Imagine trying to do something as important as jumping with your weak-ass pinky stretching to hit ctrl.
