I just watch Shila on our national TV today 12/4/2020, so I decided to look up here.. answering your question, music goes beyond race and racism. If a singer is good.. at the same time fluent in the language, why not for sure. We have quite a number of non Malay singer when they sang they just sound like a Malay as much as Shila can render in Mandarin. Let's not be racist.

Shila Amzah has made every Malaysian proud, however, my next question is, with her stunning and beautiful voice, will Malaysia officials appreciate her and creating more opportunities for her in our own country?
