This appointment to rehire Ward for new higher role is like given the two fingers towards Klopp with old gang coming back together and I think we can all agree now that the gang & Klopp didn't get along in terms of decision making on transfers & new contracts.
Edwards' return was definitely arranged before klopp handing his notice. I reckon klopp was told edwards will be back wether he liked it or not.
I prayed for this and it happened 😊
The foundation of Liverpool football club is moving to a stronger position and will be a formidable force in the coming years - a feeder club makes sense in this current business and process , the academy has shown the owners that they need to be on front foot with identifying talent at the early stages of young player’s development.
Id like to know where all this money has come from for all these new staff when the pot is empty when we need to buy new players. I agree with what you said about FSG sneaking around contacting Edwards before Klopp had said he was leaving. No one will ever make me believe its about anything other than money with FSG. They need to thank their lucky stars thay they have had Klopp doing such an amazing job. I'm not looking foward to LFC without Klopp., but will support the next manager and keep my fingers crossed that he gets what he needs to get results

The other side of the thought process that maybe isn’t being considered is that maybe Klopp and Edwards and Ward did work well together despite their differences- after all Klopp looked his happiest and healthiest when they were there - and maybe Edwards and ward left because of FSG and their lack of ambition in footballing terms - and maybe this is FSG’s attempt to get Klopp to change his mind and stay. Has the club officially announced Slot as the new manager yet? I don’t think they have unless I’ve missed it! Or of course it could be FSG trying to discredit Klopp to avoid the fans turning on FSG when they finally realise there’s no more Klopp.
They have all got what they wanted so now is the time for them all produce the goods.
It all make sense now and why Klopp is leaving this summer..

Very interesting! This makes me think even more that Jurgen may have been pushed out (even though I think he wants to go anyway). If an employer want to make structural and personnel changes to an organisation then there are always going to be casualties.
I reckon the incoming transfers will be more efficient. The last couple of transfer windows have been appalling especially with the time taken getting them in. Èdwards and Ward are Liverpool fans and want the best for the club. You have to admire how Liverpool are just getting on with it. This is in response to the iconic Jurgen Klopp leaving.
We just need to rehire Klopp now

Honestly don’t think Jurgen is leaving because of this restructure. Just my personal opinion.
I’m very happy with the restructure tbf. Our leadership team looks strong. Edwards and Ward work well. So looking forward to seeing their work. ( again! ) 👌🏽
It comes to mind I remember klopp always said. I do not want to leave but I have to leave. Maybe FSG had discussions with him on direction of LFC and he did not want to be part of data stuff and instead have the influence on transfers
I think it’s a well known fact that: Klopp clashed with ME/JW and co. That’s old news. I’m glad ME/JW back, acquisitions under Klopp have been terrible, and very poor player buys.
Only thing is: budgets at FSG are too tight for us to properly compete. It’s even more difficult now Arsenal have improved. So I don’t see us winning any major trophies any time soon. Slot will not get who he wants, so I have a feeling the new model might not work so well in the longer term. We need slightly bigger budgets and owners who want to win everything. Oil /State owners.
Edwards left because klopp give new deals to Henderson and Miller. Ward left because klopp signed Nunez. Klopp undermined them both

I think it's good income ways ways as Edwards and Julian ward have the knowledge to help with sighnings I think we will never find out why klopp decided to go there's a lot of storied being put out I don't think it will help fsg if found out the reason klopp left was because Edwards came back

I think Edwards and Ward fell out with lots of the coaches not just Klopp. I understand Klopp’s outfield players coaches leaving but the goal keeping and Mattos also leaving, something doesn’t smell right to me…
Really who cares why they left and why Klopp is leaving. They're back and we look forward.

I think, they spoke to Edwards before klopp made his decision because this was always going to happen. And i think Klopp got wind or was told and it helped him decide to go as one of many things that have contributed to his decision.

Klopp seems always having a fall out with his colleagues the first one is with his #AssistantCoach #ZeljkoBuvac both of them joined LFC in year 2015 then on April 30 2018 Buvac missing in action nowhere to be seen with Klopp it was later announced that he had left the club permanently. Buvac and Klopp said their relationship had changed…I wonder Why🤔then the next one is #MichaelEdwards who got huge disagreement with Klopp because of Salah👑simply because Klopp do not want Salah👑in his team Klopp want to buy #JulianBrandt but Edwards and the people behind him supported Edwards championing Salah👑of course you don’t need a rocket scientist to tell you what happened later on then the third person to leave is #JulianWard Why? The whole situation seems a little suss to me...did FSG not sign Bellingham due to cost despite the work Klopp did because they always had this plan in the back of their minds..? I'm happy but tentative about the future...it will either be magical or a disaster, time will tell.

It's likely to be a disaster cause
A.I don't think the gang will give slot his former players who know the system, I think they will have big heads and will get stubborn to try and force the current squad on slot with no casualties ( saving money ).
B. Casualties in the squad will take time to admit it's time to go, then it will be too late to find replacements in the market.
I don't think that's smart because we all know how that system back fired to ten hag right? He brought players eradivise and they failed where is van de beek? Where is Anthony ? Where's malacia? All failed and btw can you name any dortmund player that klopp bought to Liverpool because he knows them so much?
