Welcome to Barbie's Destiny Chalet! Also famously known as Barbie's Dream House or Barbie's Doll House in Gatlinburg! This amazing 3 bedroom chalet is located in the heart of Gatlinburg, less than half a mile from Öber Gatlinburg Ski & Amusement Centre and only minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood!
With parking for 4 vehicles and boasting furnishings and amenities such as spectacular views, hot tub, 4 fireplaces, great location, Chalet Village Resort Access and that feel of opulence, you will surely find that Barbie's Destiny Chalet is the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway you’ve been searching for!
Main Level:
The entry level features the living area, kitchen, dining area, games area with wet-bar, a separate lounge area, a full bathroom with shower and access to the covered patio.
The living area features luxurious leather furniture, including 2 sleeper sofas, just waiting for you to get comfortable, fire up the gas fireplace and catch up with friends and family, or watch your favorite TV show on the big screen Smart HDTV! The game area offers a large pool table and a wet-bar, perfect for guests to enjoy hours of fun. There is also a private lounge where you can escape for a while and curl-up on the chaise lounge sofa with a book…
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and offering all the cookware and tableware necessary to create that perfect family meal. The large center-island features granite counter tops and bar-seating for 10. Gather the family to taste test your culinary masterpiece at the dining table offering seating for 6 or enjoy a meal at the breakfast-nook table while taking in the gorgeous mountain views.
Step out onto the covered patio and enjoy a cook-out on the gas grill while watching the game on the large outdoor-TV, enjoy a meal or play a card-game on the patio table, or better yet, relax in the soothing hot tub after a long day of sightseeing while enjoying the beauty of The Smokies and watching the ski-lift pass right over-head.
Upper Level:
Travel upstairs where you will find an open lounge area and a private master suite.
The lounge area offers comfortable seating, a large HDTV and a wall of windows where you can relax and take in the mountain views.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, a gas fireplace, large HDTV, jetted tub with a spectacular view, a private kitchenette and a full bathroom with an amazing shower, double sinks with ample counter space and a private toilet and bidet.
There is also a small covered patio to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the sunrise over the mountains.
Top Level:
One more level up is an open loft area with beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains.
Lower Level:
The lower level offers 2 master suites, 2 full bathrooms, the laundry room with washer/dryer and access to a covered patio with views.
The 2 master bedrooms each offer a king bed, large HDTV, gas fireplace, jetted tub, full bathroom with shower and access to the covered patio.
The patio offers a table and chairs and more of the amazing mountain views.

I am from the Barbie era born in 1958. I also spend a lot of time in the pigeon Forge Gatlinburg area and would really enjoy the opportunity to spend a couple nights here. The steps would be a nightmare, but I’m sure accommodations could be made to still be able to enjoy the chalet. The view is beautiful and I would really love to share this with friends.

The view was our favorite part. Every Ober Tram that came by everyone was waiving down at us. It would be fun to sit out there with a giant draw erase board and come up with funny sayings to point up at the tram as it goes by! We appreciate your support, it means a lot!

That was the first motorized chandelier we have ever seen! The Gatlinburg Barbie House has a lot of potential of things they could add to it in the future to make it even more unique!

Seems though it’s not expensive to rent if you have extended family, I rented a condo that slept two people and It was the same price per night as this huge house that sleeps 10.

@@Weatheredstorms1 it can go up to $1k/night, but if you get reservation during the lower priced days, yes you could split it between others and make it reasonable.

the two times i went to ober mountain they always made the joke of "if you see it as barbie's dream house then the small house under it is ken's after the divorce"

Thanks for the video! I think the owners should consider a space for kids in the loft. Legless seating, an LCD TV, board games, and perhaps a game console.
Our pleasure! We were thinking the same thing, I know they are thinking that parents might not want kids in the the master bedroom, we were saying turning that into a neat play area for kids to play in during the day would be great! We did a quick search and found a Barbie pinball machine, and I am sure there is Barbie Monopoly, Checkers, etc. that you could really lean into the theme even more with!

We think they should lean into the Barbie theme harder. Barbie pinball machine, Barbie board games, classic Barbie mounted on the walls of one of the rooms, Barbie movie poster, etc…
@@AdventureIsOutThereYes, exactly. I would also add an elevator. I've seen some mobility elevators with a pretty small footprint that they probably could fit somewhere. And, there's no pink. It doesn't have to be over-the-top like the movie, but I'd incorporate some pink tones. It's an elegant house, but more masculine in feel as it is now.
