Introducing episode #2 of the RE86 build!
In this episode, we go over Brodie's new gearbox and adaptor setup, only to realise that the current custom tube gearbox tunnel is too small.
Out comes the grinder and Brodie creates a sheet metal tunnel over another tube tunnel.

Andy Perrett from N.Z. almost had the same trouble when it came to fitting a Mazda Cosmo 20B rotary engine into his HQ Kingswood which is this one :-

There's no word on what transmission is used because I assume that the Cosmo was only available in automatic form so I'm assuming he used an RX7 5 speed manual transmission.
It took him a couple of goes to fit it without cutting the transmission tunnel out but it goes good now !

So did you finish the 20B AE86 build? I'ts been almost 3 years now!
Haha that is true! We have another video sitting there, I've just been too busy with my business to finish it off. The motor had some issues when it was pulled down so he's waiting on parts for that currently.
