Ben Paterson is one of the few guys to be equally at home on piano and organ. He's incredibly tasteful on both, maybe a tad cliched on organ of course, but a monster of a player nevertheless, he swings great, his lines are inventive and lock into what he's doing and his roots are firmly in traditions of the past masters. I love his playing on both instruments, super talented guy.
absolutely beautiful.touch, tone of the organ everything.guitar. just beautiful.this is for the people that know and love the music. some don't.nothing like the pulse of the swinging bass.great job ben. you've got it
It's nice to see and hear someone who is passionate when he performs his music....Especially having an appreciation of the great old standards like this. Ben Patterson is one of those musicians. He is enjoying every second of this. He feels it, he's tight in the groove he and Kyle have laid down. We need more of this well articulated, musical and clean playing instead of figiting with all the stops, slamming the keys and running up and down the keys in some sort of Hammond gymnastics. This is the tasteful good stuff. Thanks ...well appreciated.
Ben you are a great B-3 player. I'm especially impressed that you don't spend your life tinkering with the draw bars. Wonderful instrumental interpretation of a great song that Dianna Washington "owns," and that Diane Schure should have left alone.
When I first heard this video I thought there may have been something that Jimmy Smith and Kenny Burrell recorded that I was not aware of, turned around and saw you guys in the video. Great bass line and chords! Keep them coming. Jack Hyatt

Wahou ! Groove, melody and swing with two marvelous and happy musicians. Thank you !
This is just great. I listen to this often to remind myself of an artist so at home with his craft and is just having fun. That's happiness.
I love this golden guy, really makes you want to listen to his music all night long!
