- In today's video I'm spraying off some blackgrass ready to plant some winter beans, we oil up the combine header ready to put it away for the winter and a quick trip to farm 2 with the New Holland TM165 to tip off a trailer. Also, some bonus footage of combining wheat with our old Claas Lexion 480 from 10 years ago!

Hey guys! So the footage at the end was filmed on an old digital camera so I’m sorry if the quality isn’t great! Once I find someone technical to sort out my hard drive (from my old broken computer) I may find some more old footage! 🤞 Have a good rest of the week! 😎
Oh wow loved the old footage. Dad hasn't aged a day! Same trailers - you really look after your stuff. Impressed with the tlc on the combine. Shameful when I think back to how little we did with ours in comparison. Hope you find some more footage. If the hard drive is not broken should be easy enough to hook it up to another computer to recover what's on it.
The John Deere 8020 series legendary 8.1 l I am guessing 8320
Nice video mate
Not good enough I want my money back 😂 keep up the good work. Ps any chance of a dad video enjoy listening to the old tales

Now Nick, Love the old footage will look forward to more of that 👍🏻, also loved the 7220, cracking tractors, I operated a 7210 for many years ploughing mainly which it was built for IMO, the jd in the footage I think was a 7820/30 maybe. I’m looking forward to you all doing Crawfords farm challenge, should be a good laugh with Dad and you been so competitive 😂😂😂
Haha yeah will be fun! Yeah the case was a good machine 👍👍

Haha don’t tell him that 🤣🤣
Good old magnum we still use our 7220.
Was a great tractor 👍👍
I'd say the John Deere at the end was an 83 or 8420!
Savage.👌👌👌👌
I reckon it's a 8330 then !!
Maybe John Deere 8530 ?
Was that a john deere 7920? The deere and magnum are lovely tractors. Ever wish the were around?
Miss the Case!!
Good Lad! Will the auld boy beat you?.. 👀
We’ll have to see, if he does then he won’t let me forget it!! 🤣
How many acres do you have nick
Well i'll have a stab at 7720, i love John Deere and have always wondered if i'd be able to recognise a particular model from just a clip. So 7720.
My guess at the model of John Deere is 7920
Great bit of footage of yr mum and dad... what name of that of farm channel again?
Crawford Farms 👍 forgot to put a link in description but have now!
Do you get grants in England for sprayer upgrades to stop overlapping and waste .....but you left eu so no free money 😆
Got to be a 8320?
Don’t know a lot about spraying , is the concentrate separate from the water tank and it’s mixed at a selected rate as you use it or do you mix a set amount and your either short or you’ve got too much ? Cheers
So basically we spray at 160 litres per hectare (water). Tank size is 1600 so 10 hectares to a tank. Water is fed into tank from the pipe you saw me fix up at beginning of video. Then say I want to spray 2 litres of chemical (in this case round up) I’ll do 2x10 so 20 litres and put that through the induction hopper so it then gets mixed into the main tank with the water and is diluted correctly 👍 Hope that makes sense!
@@NicksFarm got it cheers 👍
Is it a john deere 7930 nick
Not quite… 🤔
83/8420 jd
Great video nick, did you not wash that header first? When the combines in the new shed your forget about it, flat battery coming up. Proper combine like jwb farm services your old one. Is that the first time mum has featured?
Just air lined it, don’t like to use the jet wash on it! We’ve actually got a battery conditioner we’re gonna use on it during the winter so hopefully no more flat batteries!! And yep first time for mum 👍
@@NicksFarm have to start it up regularly.
Jd 8220?
So close!
A john deere 7920 or 7930.
Is the old John Deere a 8110.
Close…
I'm guessing 7920
