The chanting at 1:05 has haunted me since a child. So out of this world. In the uk theres theme park with a ride called pirate adventure which has this type of pirate chanting. Love it but to frighten me as a kid.
I could literally hear his voice, saw his face, his eyes everything. How he slides the door open and looks at the dager and then walks forward and says those legend lines
1:03 always got me excited for the movie, I loved the thought of the Disney Animated Classic actually being real and all the epicness of the past fights Peter had with Hook.
1:05 it's like we've travelled into a different kind of movie, especially that one scene "Peter, don't you know who you are?". It's like we're finding out the true identity of the Omen.
Imagine someone telling you that you are actually Peter Pan, or even Harry Potter or other book protagonist?? That you simply forgot but the stories/books were true? damn, music at 1:05 sums it up nicely!!
Something a bit strange; The first half of this track (from the beginning to 1:03) is used in the DVD menu of Disney's Peter Pan: Return to Neverland, despite "Hook" nor it's soundtrack being a property of Disney.
I'm writing a book it's called Hook Stories and it has all the characters from the movie hook in it Rufio, Hook, Pan, etc. but anyway it's my version of hook I made up my own stories and most of all, I'm in it too!

1:05 the most iconic pirate theme I've ever heard.

peter pan was always a dark figure. Everything was a game to him and neverland was his kingdom that he ruled with an iron fist. The music fits

Who?
Hook is my favourite Disney villan and I love the flim
Surprisingly this film isn’t made by Disney
This movie has nothing to do with the 1953 Disney movie. It’s meant as a continuation to the novel Peter Pan and Wendy.
the whole thing is eerie but the epic cool part for me starts at 1:58
1:05-1:15 actually gives me goosebumps. That sounds so eerie.
Haunting.
@@nssteampunk4865 exactly his past coming back to haunt him
Yeah for sure, it's like a dark pirates theme.
My favorite part starts at 1:05...
It is the movie of my childhood, I will never forget it
They wanted Peter Pan to Michael Jackson, how would it have been? It's still perfect

"Yes Boy... Yes."
Thank you for posting
1:05 used to give me shivers just thinking that the same Captain Hook from the Disney Movie was actually a "live" villain
There's nothing before that...
It´s just music for Tootsie ;)
I know this is John Williams's score but at 1:05 why do I get the ominous feeling that it sounds strikingly similar to Emperor Palpatine's theme?
woah... what's the Emperor doing here? John Williams, did you sleep on the job again!?!
Have to fly.
Have to crow, have to fight!
Have to save Maggie, have to save Jack.
Hook is back...

Huh, that is odd
Bizarre! On that dvd, in scene selections it plays tinkerbell's theme, ALSO from Hook
Wow.
I knew this sounded familiar! I always thought the same two composers wrote both movies, but I guess not!
"..... Could it be......is it really you?; My great and worthy opponent....
