Oh, just you wait until NG+ 😂 I literally took over 100 attempts and 50 hours ti beat her my first go around, but 7 attempts and 10 minutes on NG+2. Mt solution? Literally just spam Black Flame during Aeonia. Also, use a heavy hitting weapon with Bloodflame Blade and Mimic Tear to stun lock her and beat the ever loving shit out of Phase 1. Then roll straight forward when she descends and run the opposite direction from her, and begin spamming Black Flame. Make sure to charge it. She should get below half health within about 10 seconds give or take. Then just combo her with the Mimic like you did in Phase 1 until Scarlet Aeonia number 2 and use the same process listed earlier, than to finish either continue combing or use something like Flame of the Fell God for heavy fire damage that she can't dodge very easily and that also knocks her down.

Literally no way that run should have been rejected. I'd appeal. Showing the in game timer in Round table hold is literally a time loss and makes your run slower. If someone can do the same exact thing and show the time before getting to RTH then wabam, WR.
Don't know if it was a bug that got patched or something, but on my first run through the game, I rested at the site of grace that appears behind you in the 'choose your ending' room, and was able to travel back to it after rejecting NG+, letting me get two endings in a single playthrough. On the off-chance it still happens and someone wants to rush the achievement grind, that might help save you a run!
YES!! this was so fun to watch. I ran blasphemous blade my 2nd playthrough and totally agree, that thing is a beast. Still struggled with radagon/elden beast bc im bad at the game but hey. You're the world record holder in my heart
Fun fact, the fleshy ant-balls in the Elden Stars cave each drop a Numen’s Rune when you pop them. Not particularly relevant, but maybe nice to know if someone would like a few dozen thousand Runes running through Deeproot Depths.
It's VEEERY satisfying to pop the swollen ones. Here's another little known tip: the Lake of Rot's impact on your health can be lessened if you roll in it and let the body build up activate the status instead of standing in the lake. It does about a quarter of the damage the lake dip does, and the Erdtree version of the Boon incantation almost cancels it out. Thanks for the mechanic, B team/DS2 devs!

I've found that instead of jumping to the broken pathways near the crucible knight in farum you can go to the rail behind him and jump over right to the grace. It also seems faster than jumping on the floating pathways so I'm surprised I haven't seen it more often

6:28 not sure if that’s sarcasm, but moon of nokstella is usually useful for spells that take multiple spell shots (scarlet aeonia, placidusax’s ruin, etc.), so you can still have enough spell slots for your normal spells alongside the more ‘premium’ ones. some people also just want 12 spells for some reason, maybe for buffs or because they’re too indecisive and want to stuff as many spells into their build as possible.
oh, i just remembered a video i saw where someone was trying to do a "summons only" run, never attacking the bosses directly and making the summons do all the work. one boss gave him QUITE a hard time until he used the Mimic Tear while wearing really good equipment.
the baleful shadow isnt a black knife assassin, its one of the two fingers' assassins ranni mentions in her quest. the wolf helm mentions that theyve tried to disguise themselves as blaidd before to assassinate ranni
It's obviously too late now, but it is possible to get all the different endings without doing a playthrough for each on PS5. With PS Plus you can upload your save to the cloud, turn off the auto-update, do an ending, then re-download it from the cloud to do a different one. I missed the quests for a few my first time so in NG+ I just got them that way.
Great job! The Tree Sentinel in Leyndell is optional though, you can do Fia's quest and backdoor into the capital without fighting. Not faster or easier but I accidentally did that my first playthrough. If you use PS Plus to upload your save to the cloud to save scum the endings does it invalidate the record?
Has to be doable by every version of the game and the cloud upload wont last forever and also its faster on pc to just quit and set to read only and do it that way even if it were allowed
rewatching this vid made me want to platinum this game. i only had the Collect Legendary Spells/Ashes/ Talismans achievements left hut it feels good to wrap that up

You can actually get all trophies without going into NG+ on PS4/5 (I think you need PS+, but I don't know for certain). You can save and quite the game after killing Elden Beast, then upload your game save. After doing that, open the game, pick an ending and get a trophy. You can then quit the game, download your save from before you chose an ending and do it again with a different ending. I am assuming that this can be done because I don't see a rule against it, but I could be wrong.
It's kinda crazy how easy NG+1 is After the grueling slog that NG can be, it felt really weird to finally start a NG+ after 5 or 6 NG characters because it was just so fast and easy. No set-up, bosses start much easier than the endgame ones, by the time you hit endgame your build should have no compromises like you might in NG. It's nuts.

I did my achievement hunting a few days ago, but it looks sussy because I got two endings on the same day because my game glitched and spawned me back in the ending area, so I got the normal and ranni ending.
I got all 3 in one run because I'm terrible and save scummed (thank you PC) I've beaten the game a bunch of times since, so it's hardly like I couldn't have gotten em all legit.

Elden Beast kinda looks like a cosmic dragon, and the actual dragons use gold infused lightning and they even bleed gold.
elden ring by itself is a bit harder than other games but its platinum is not that hard. to me it was really refreshing as someone who has done the ds3 and sufered the ds2 platinum hunts

So to be Malenia you had to lose an arm and a leg and get blind3d and still learn to fight with a Katana. Yeah, probably it takes more than 12 hours.

I used that mohgwyn teleport a few times in my first run, it's so nice being able to recover runes lost in boss fights without beating them
I feel like an interesting run would be a pus and boots run where when you die nine times you are dead permanently

The Godfrey fight is why I prefer Stars of Ruin over Comet Azur. Charge it and spam it, plus wearing Lusat's Crown boosts its damage.

You can abuse your save files with could data on PlayStation, you turn off cloud syncing and you revert back to the cloud file when you get an ending
