Hi. In the same number of elements, generally second order elements are more accurate. Also in the Abaqus documentation it is said that if you are forced to use tetrahedral elements, you must use second order elements with modified formulation which is named C3D10M element. But according to my experience, second order elements may cause a lot of problems in the model and its easier to use first order tetrahedral elements. Because reaching good quality second order elements is harder than reaching high quality for first order elements. Also the possibility of getting unwanted errors increases when using second order elements. So generally its better to use a finer mesh with first order elements. At the end, all of these must be tested on the model to obtain an optimum simulation which is efficient and enough accurate.
amazing sir stay blessed
Thank you
please make more videos
thanks
you are welcome.
its so good vidio, so can you make one vidio in which two sample are sutured and do simulation.

Useful techniques. Thanks for the video!
you are welcome.
What is the effect of using first order or second order tetrahedral element on the simulation ?

Thanks for clarification of my dought sir.
@@abhinavsiliveru5448 You are welcome.
Thank you it's an excellent video. I want to ask you about the biomecanical property of the bone from any article or book did you get it
You are welcome.
You must search in the papers to find the mechanical properties of each bone that you want.
