Easiest is most likely checking the Attachments.

I made a patch for that enabling the previously Premium weapon only feature to see upgrade paths for all weapons where it works. Should be avaible via Pew pew Discords mhfz info channel for now.

is the basarios beam only selected to specific bowguns?

Well its an attachment Pre G so you need a Bowgun supporting it as mentioned in the video its kinda the counterpart for the LBG Gou Bowguns.
So you find them mostly on HBG Gou Bowguns.
In G Rank you either get it from Extreme Style or Sigils on any G Wepaon with a compatible Sigil Slot.
