This is all of Sublime, all of their sounds, and all of their styles put in to one song and it's a cover of a children's show theme song from the 70s. Epic!
I remember when Cartoon Network first came out showing Hong Kong Phooey and all the other classics, then they started showing crap shows like Power Puff Girls and Ren and Stimpy, Courage the Cowardly Dog and I don't know what else, then Boomerang came along with all the classics again, now they don't show the classics anymore except for Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. We need a good cartoon channel again.
He wasn't taken he chose to do the heroin and he chose to do what he did he wasn't taken he made that decision on his own. If you're going to say somebody was taken then let it be from a natural cause not something that they did on their own like an overdose that's called suicide and yes if anybody does something did they know we'll kill them and they do it anyway it's definitely called that. The sad as it is let's not lie to the whole world and act like he's sitting up in heaven and he didn't kill himself or something to do literally chose to do heroin and he overdose he did all of that on his own nobody took them that was his discussion.
I bought Saturday Morning Cartoons Greatest Hits in 95 because of the Ramones "Spiderman". It only took one play through for this to become my favorite song on the disc, as it still is 19 years later. Every time I play this, I immediately have to play Pawn Shop. Great Stuff!
Ohhh hes got style, a groovy smile, a bod' that just wont stop, when the going gets rough - hes super tough - with The Hong Kong Phooey Chop!! RRRAAAAHHHHH!!!!
@@poopshipdestroy3r I mean the producers of Spongebob used Pantera in one of their episodes, and Gwar did an entire freaking setlist for a KND episode. I'm sure it'd be just fine to have Sublime tied to an old 70's cartoon.
I'll never forget...summer of 96 rolling around in a Nissan Maxima with stock Bose jamming the new self titled album and sampling "the good life" in the greatest summer of my life. Sublime was the soundtrack of our year, mixed with the bootlegs We aquired separately. We miss you Brad!!
Does any one else see bands from there youth and even tho you older than them now they still look and appear older to you in the videos like they will forever be your elders in these images ... any way fucking tune 🎉❤
I feel like Bradley was, and still is, such an underrated entertainer. Truly a one-of-a-kind dude for sure. I simply cannot get enough of these vids showing his silly antics and amazing groove and flow all at the same time.
I bought this album (Saturday Morning Cartoons) on CD when it first came out and listened to it more than I care to admit. Veruca Salt doing H.R. PuffNStuff was another good track.
THE BEST MOST CHILL MOST KOOLEST AND LOVELY MATCH UR MOOD MUSIC EVER. HE SINGING UP THER NOW 4 GOD. THATS HOW MUCH GOD LIKED HIS MUSIC. he sings in the heavens now. LUV4EVER.

I used to watch this show with my grandpa years ago, and he passed away last September, and this brings back so many memories of watching Saturday morning cartoons with him. Damn do I miss him
The whole CD that this came from had all sorts of good covers--and a few meh ones--of some classic cartoon tunes. This was definitely one of the better ones.
As a kid I had a cassette tape with this song and many other Saturday Morning cartoon themes covered by a lot of different 90s artist and groups…I may have been 7 or 8 (95 or 96) but I NEVER forgot these songs…specifically this one…this was my first taste of sublime, damn sure wouldn’t be my last
Everything about this cover is just perfect. From the singer's voice and style, to that loud slamming sound (is that a drum or a sound effect from the cartoon?).
Who has ever deemed Sublime “underrated”??? Do people even know what “underrated” means??? Sublime was the corner stone of blues and rock in the early 90s aka Ska, they were the pioneers, not underdogs. They were just misunderstood that doesn’t mean underrated.
His note choice when he sings “Quicker than the HUUUUMAN eye” is sooo jazzy and cool and like a minor 9th suspended chord or some shit. And yet, it sounds like its straight from Doin Time. Not only was his voice great, and he could sing pretty good, but how he approached melodies. He almost sang like a black female jazz singer from the 40s or something… Very bluesy, but also very coool and bluuue and playful
Years ago my son burned a CD for me as a birthday gift. This, along with a few other Sublime cuts was on it. He said the songs on the CD he either knew I liked, I would like or they reminded him of me. Now that I think of it, about half the artists on that CD are dead. Best gift I ever got
Brad's voice is just so, perfect. R.I.P. to the legend.
+KawaiiCookieWolf Kaiah this video kills me. you can see the love in the room. too sad, fuck heroin.

We'll never have another voice like his again... Not to mention his personality was also a one in a lifetime!
gilbert moreno dude, it’s like therapeutic to me. His style and sound reminds me of the best time of my younger days.
I’m a little salty they tried to replace him with Rome.....................
This is all of Sublime, all of their sounds, and all of their styles put in to one song and it's a cover of a children's show theme song from the 70s. Epic!
And I'm so glad they did it!
All their sounds and styles? Not quite
pick it up pick it up pick it up
It almost reminds me of a Frank Zappa tune.
EPIC!!! 😁
Congratulations you've officially heard at every Sublime song There is
Just another reason why the 90s were awesome.....

I thought I knew every Sublime song
But I cant remember hearing this before.
Made me extremely happy today ❤
Man wish Bradley was still around just to see his music evolve. Still holds up for me.
I think would of been more dub/reagge rather than punk
After all these years i stumble on this & it still makes me want to cry. He was taken too early.
He wasn't taken as he wasn't anyone's possession. We all die, it's just part of life. Just be happy with what they left for us all to enjoy.

Huge Sublime fan, literally never heard this, and I was born in early 84 so I was around when Sublime got popular.
It was easy to miss. It was on a compilation album in 1995. It came up in Napster searches 5 years later. That's probably where most people found it.
Pawn Shop bass line!
Anthony Bailey yeah i caught that too
Thought that sounded rather familiar!
Hahaha y3ah man
Sister Nancy bam bam too hahahauaua
Iconic bassline !
Down here at the Hong Kong Phooey Pawn Shop is my favorite Sublime-man Crothers songs. That dog was a cool cat.
I didn't understand your comment until I listened further in the song and heard the pawn shop rift
