Interesting, One question are you able to have your duffel bag/pack at the staging area and come back to each day after the race? Seems to be a little different than MDS with equipment and accessories.
Do you ever use a cape? Either for running or hanging out around camp? Good for getting changed under and wind and waterproof. Like a survival bag but that you can walk around in.😁 was the solar panel any good?

Is there a bag size / weight limit for these type of events? I ask because washing smelly kit at the end of a long day when I need to eat, wash and sleep would be so low down my priorities that I'd rather bring eight days of kit.

Wild Ginger Films hi, yes I'm looking for a long ultra to do for my 40th birthday, so 3 year to go. I was thinking about the MDS but I suck at running in the heat 😂. So running over Scotland will suit me just fine 😉🏃👍🏻
Wild Ginger Films yes all Europe has had a heatwave this summer but I still think it’s cooler then the Sahara desert where the MDS runs 😂. I keep watching your films about this race to pick up some tips 😉👍🏃♂️

Hi Claire, with your road trainers being Brooks have you tried the Brooks Cascadia (trail trainer) for trails?
