I agree wholeheartedly with the guy, its the small things that show the true character of a person, if she was not appreciative of the guy, then as he said that could be the beginning of a horrible relationship, and then instead of admitting her mistake and being truly apologetic, she just says that its not a big deal because he paid with a gift certificate, that just because it wasn't "his money" that she didn't need to be thankful, but he still had taken her out, he still had been a gentleman with her, and she had the audacity to say that and behave in that way, I also would not even consider being with such a petty and ungrateful person.
Usually on a date if you want to do it but not make it seem like for the meal or how expensive the place was, you say "thank you for the great or wonderful night".
"You still want to talk to him if he's that bad at taking jokes". - Brooke. However if a man asked a woman what are ya poor, Brook would crucify him and say it's not funny at all. She's so 2-sided against men.
I’m so glad you said this. I literally said this to myself out loud lol. I have a hard time with these because of Brooke sometimes. She has a thing against men, it’s very clear
She does sound ungrateful still. He is a bit rigid on his stance--he cant forgive. But it is very rude mot to say thank you. If I were him, id forgive her but not go out with her anymore too. Nope.
Idk, I don't think it's THAT big of a deal. I'm someone that tends to space out a lot too and sometimes I forget but I always end up saying thank you at some point.
She said he’s poor and HE paid for the date… a thank you was deserving there. Sure he wrote off the poor comment but a thank you goes far. Especially on this date
@@arng9588 Why is he a wack job? Because he wanted appreciation? She expected / demanded that he pay for the date. Him using a coupon doesn't look good, but she should pay for her portion because she is equal. If he wanted to pay with a gift card, that is his choice.
@@JSolar590 No because he made the thank you such a big deal. She should have thanked him but to be so upset about something that could easily have been a mistake is nuts.
I don’t understand why everyone is on this guys side. Your nerves are always shot on a first day. It’s very easy to forget to say Thankyou . Homie needs to chill!!
I was willing to see this guy's side a little bit at first (though I think it's a bit melodramatic to write someone off completely like that), but once she brought up the gift card I was rolling my eyes at this guy. Anyone who gets that butthurt because their date didn't fall down on their hands and knees in gratitude that their meal was paid for with a GIFT CARD needs to seriously get their priorities checked. If he's that concerned with manners and gratitude then he should give her the name of whoever gave him the gift card and she can thank THEM for paying.
I don't see it that way. It was probably a gift to him and he chose to share his gift with her? wtf. I am a woman and it's my belief that dates should be Dutch. If she paid her own way, there would be no issue.
@@karen7573 Congrats for being a woman who believes in going Dutch. I'm also a woman who believes going Dutch (or taking turns if you're in a more serious relationship) is the best way to go for both parties. But that wasn't the issue. Even if she had paid her own way, an issue like this would still come up with someone who gets this bent out of shape over things.
She should have said thank you. But if he isn’t ready to work through even this small of a thing for a relationship, he is never going to be able to maintain one.

This guy makes me proud, he's a man that knows his worth and won't take anyone that's ingrate and doesn't know how to say "thank you".
Spoken like a true incel.
I am 100% behind this guy. I couldn't agree more. She's an ingrate, and not saying thank you is the tip of the iceberg.

I agree with the guy 1000% percent. .. You don't forget to say thanks
A 'Thank You' can go a long way!
Manners is important to me so it definitely will annoy me if the girl doesn't even say thank you.

Does Brooke not say thank you?
Im with the dude on this one
What does it matter How he paid?? What kind of Thank You did he really WANT.
Thank you for what?
She said he’s poor and HE paid for the dinner…
Who thanks who for that?
