Hi, still a little confused with conflicting information. Did you do anything in advance of arrival or did you do the whole process in the airport?
Also, does the kiosk require a passport picture or does it take there and then?

No, I didn’t do anything in advance. Everything was done at the airport. The kiosk doesn’t require a passport picture just your passport. A passport picture is only required if you plan to get a SIM card at the airport and even with that said if you don’t have a passport picture with you then they’re prepared to take your photo for you for but you have to pay. I can’t remember how much it is because I just so happen to have a picture. I’m sure it was less than $10.

No, surprisingly they don’t ask you anything about vaccines.

No they didn’t ask me (thankfully) but I would highly suggest booking an onward ticket on a site like Expedia that allows you to cancel within 24 hours…book it, screen shot the ticket and then cancel it so you’ll have it just in case they ask you…I do this all the time when I’m traveling and it works like charm 😏

I have a question, you need visa to go in nepal but you can just buy it when you are arrived? You dont need to buy it before the flight?
@@Toya17 Yes it’s called “visa on arrival”. You purchase the visa once you arrive.

First off thank you for this video!! Question, I fly to Nepal in a few days & just wanted make sure u.s passports are accepted for visa on arrival, or do you need extra documentation before you board your flight.
Yes U.S passports on arrival are accepted….just make sure you have there coin to pay for it cause that’s all that matters😂🤷🏾♀️

Just in case they ask for hotel accomodation. Is it okay if we will show to them our reservation online or do they need print-out copies?
No they don’t ask you for a print out copy because at the kiosk you’re prompted to just type your address in. Once completed, the kiosk will print the form with your information and then you give that, your passport, receipt
and flight ticket to them at the counter. If however at the counter (talking to a real human) they ask to see your address I’m sure online reservation will be fine. But honestly I don’t think they will because the day I was there they didn’t ask anyone anything. They just wanted make sure you paid for the visa lol
Did you get asked for proof of book hotel?
@@animeaddicts7002 Not at all. You type your address in the kiosk and it prints out with your info on it. However it is possible they may ask you so if you already have a place to go just have that info ready and available and if you don’t I suggest you book a hotel with a 24 hour cancelation option, screen shot it and have it ready just in case.
