    Marvel.... next time, you want someone to write these types of stories that involve black people or any ethnicity. How about you hire someone who happens to be of said ethnicity, okay?
    This also applies to Hollywood in general because they also do this type of embarrassing material almost every time. It's not even funny... it's just sad and cringe worthy.
    Also, don't encourage them to bring him back. I heard the comic is good, and I don't want his crap writing to soil something good.

    So i read these and i actually liked the hulk and captain America ones because they actually did the concept justice where the idea should be "what if miles became (blank) instead of spider-man" so they would do his original origin but instead of getting bit by a spider, he would get something else. The wolverine and thor ones just felt lazy and too different from Miles that it felt more like "what if (blank) character was black".

    Miles feels like the author was trying to go with a killer bee type character for this story, and then ended up making a way shittier version of him. Cause with bee, yeah he embodies a black stereotype or two, but he proves to be a great and likable character, to the point where the type of stuff that comes off as racist here ,comes off as a funny character trait there. Not to mention we see that not all black characters are like this in Naruto, and that the whole rapping stick is singular to just bee

    I think one day mainstream audiences are going to realize Miles is a really mid character, and stories like this are going to prove it. He's so nondescript every-kid with such a limited scope of characterization they can't even do "what if this character were placed in this situation" comics with him without relying on vague black stereotypes. They struggle to find a distinctive character thread to weave and pull through a story so tone deaf writers do this.
    If Spider-verse 1 wasn't so damn good I really don't think people'd care for him. I mean he was in the PS4 game first but he was just like him in the comics so nobody cared. It's clear in the comics as a Spider he can't hold his own with the Parker's or Gwen Stacy as characters. I get the idea is anyone could be Spider-Man but it's undeniable the spider cooked when it bit that smart mouthed nerd from Queens.

      Spiderverse really saved miles morales
      They need to make this version how he acts because he’s so much more than black Peter Parker in these movies

    • @seregagerassimov4864
      @seregagerassimov4864 4 месяца назад +3

      @@cyvader101yeah, when Miles appeared for the first time in the Ultimate universe, Earth-1610 in 2011, he was the blankest character you ever saw. He was just Peter Parker but with dark skin.
      And he was extremely bland, so glad he got fixed over time and his other versions, like in Spiderverse or Insomniac games are alright.

    They are ruining Miles. I would have written a comic book series about an adult Miles who is in his 30's and has a family and visits Peter's Grave everyday until he has to fight a great menace that he will have to stop until it will hurt his family. But Marvel wouldn't let me do it, because Miles isn't suffering here or isn't a teen no more or that nothing gay about it.
