I would use the second bedroom as my art studio. I wouldn't mind taking 3 of these houses, build them in a U shape and turn the center space into a communal living space for my mom, brother, and me. We are all adults, who are disabled for various reasons, and find it very difficult to live completely independently but need our own spaces, too.
I was thinking something similar, except I would use it as a library!
I love feeling connected to the outdoors, so the fact that nearly the entire front of the home is nothing but windows and porch, is PERFECT to me!
Whoever designed this home, WELL DONE, WELL DONE!!!
we are in love with this plan, retired and down sizing, it is a perfect blend of form and function. Thanks for the inspiration.
Nice layout. I’d make minor changes and a huge change by adding an attached garage. Must have! Thanks for sharing
Wow, 2 baths, nice for guests! Like this house for retirement.
I have found the home of my dreams!!!!!!! Amazing layout!!!!!
Perfect home for Seniors!!!!
The showers would be a problem
@Julie-AnnWhittaker unless someone needed a wheelchair I don't see the problem. Please explain.
@@margiewelker4711 even if they didn't need a wheelchair, the elderly often have some mobility issues and are more prone to tripping. Walk in showers are much safer and easier to clean.
Cozy cute home.
A 2 car garage going out from laundry room would be Perfect for me. That front porch is relaxing to have my coffee ☕ every morning 😄
Love that there's a second bathroom, accessible for visitors without going through the main bedroom area...lots of storage space too. In love with the laundry/mud room. Very well thought out.
I like the high windows on the front for lighting. The wood wall in the living room is beautiful. The color choices for tile are also a pleasant change. The eat in kitchen allows for better use of space. Although I like the numerous windows, the very large windows in the bedrooms cut down on the usable wall space in already small rooms.
Who is going to clean those high windows. Gets pretty difficult as one gets older.
I’ve noticed a trend in these tiny homes; adding tables into the kitchen spaces. A more useful idea is an island. This increases space for storage, entertaining/chatting and you can still sit and eat.
When families sit down comfortably across from one another, ate together and talked, this was called an eat in kitchen. I think this person has a great idea.
A table can be moved. More flexible. Can’t move an island. Flexible space is key to a small space
I'm gonna trade my island for a round dining table and chairs. I miss sitting in the kitchen playing cards or Dominos with family.
I agree Bev. My 3x5 island added so much usefulness to my tiny kitchen. Before I had no real counter top space. Now I can prepare food without stooping over.
What a great little house! I like the layout and LOVE the fact that there is a separate laundry/coat room right off the front door. I do find it difficult to believe though that this is 753 sqft. My apartment is 780 sqft and I only have a 1 bdrm/1 bath. This looks quite a bit larger. I don't care for the decor, but that's easily fixed. One of the changes I would make is in the kitchen. Those open shelves have got to go and cabinets put in. There's no place for your dishes and glassware. The only other thing I didn't care for was there was no closet space designed into the 2nd bedroom. That huge portable closet thing is hideous. There should have been something built in there.
Thank you!! 😊
That’s because 29x32 is 928 sq ft. Not sure what math they’re using
@@earnestbass4043 753 sq ft is the area within exterior walls I believe, 928 sq ft includes the porch and there is some rounding taking place in the conversion from meters to feet.
And it’s all computer graphics, not an actual building.
32x29= 928 sq ft
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! This is what I want I'm saving this video...
I love this for myself. Just enough space for me and 1dog and over night guest.
Tiny, but not cramped. Very nice!❤
Now, that's what I call a home.
I really love that the fireplace was finally where it could be seen. Like this it could definitely work
I love these homes. My Mom and Dad were land developers/builders. I always loved the smaller homes. So cozy and sweet! But of course, many preferred bigger and better even though they often couldn't afford furniture. Ridiculous, right! I advised people to go with smaller less fancy homes. When they didn't wouldn't you know they ended up not keeping them for one reason or another often ending in divorce.
I just came across this channel!!!! Love what I see so far!
The laundry with mud room at the front is a great idea.
It needs a separate entrance. Tracks mud from front door to the mud room!
Stunning gorgeous little house 🏠 ❤❤❤❤❤
All I can think of is what a LOT of windows to wash. It is lovely!
My dads house has 28 windows. I can wash them inside and out in under a hour. All you need is a bucket, Dawn dish soap, wash wand, blue sponge (non scratch), squeegee and old bath towels. Wash, squeegee and dry only around the casing. Simple, streak free.
Because of storms/hail etc. where I live, those upper windows especially would need some kind of retractable shutters of some kind (not dependent on electricity), but the house has a very well thought out layout. And I'd need security/insect screening. Don't like to share with creepy crawlies. But that's a specific local need...
My absolute favorite way to use this space love it. Something like this is what I'm looking for.
The best small house i’ve ever seen!!!! BRAVO !!
What an awesome build.
Lovely place. Furnished exquisitely. Well done.
Dom moich marzeń❤ Nie zmieniłabym niczego. No, może szafki w kuchni zamiast półek. Podobają mi się 2 łazienki, druga sypialnia byłaby dla nas dwojga gabinetem, czytelnią. Sypialnie na północ są super, chlodno i przyjemnie.
Kawa na ganku...mmmm...
Gorgeous!
I love that the kitchen/ dining area is separate from the living room. Beautiful, i would like to move in next week 😊
"KABITALOY"
SO SWEET !!!
SO LOVING !!!
💙💙💙💙💙
Just beautiful house love everything inside love video thanks for sharing very nice house ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love this home! The layout is perfect!
Nice n Cosy...thank U .
What a great use of space. I"d live in that house.
I love your design! That is a rare thing for me to say. I have a suggestion, if you want to make this perfect for seniors who are now widowed, make the interior doorways pocket doors wide enough to accommodate walkers and wheel chairs. Redesign the master bedroom side of the house so that you have a wet bath and meets ADA accessibility guidelines. Front and back doors and hallway also need to be wide enough for accessibility. I love the crawl space but suggest that it be high enough to need 5 steps up to the deck. This makes it much easier to do plumbing and electrical maintenance. The crawl space lessens flood damage, bug and mold problems but needs to be properly vented for radon gas protection. Also, where are the utilities? Is this a total solar house? Or are the floors heated? That’s a lovely idea and much more pleasant than other types of heating. I am keeping this design because I will be downsizing. I look forward to meeting the person who designed this beautiful small house. 😊
Me Too ❤ it’s a beautiful design
I, too, advocate for incorporating ADA features into tiny homes. There is such a NEED for this among the older population!
Gracias por tus sugerencias me encanta este diseño, Y tengo una edad para atender tus buenísimas sugerencias, gracias ❤
Me too
Utilities, wider doors, front door more center of steps assists in loading and unloading, single door from kitchen would allow for more storage, some type of sink in laundry room for washing of pets, and so glad one of bathrooms has a tub! Great design / saving this one!
I really really love it it's beautiful
This is the most efficient use of space that I have ever seen.
I love love love this floor design !!!!!!!!!
Nicely laid out. Love it! ❤
Very nice design.
Personally, I would remove the wall between the kitchen and living area.
So beautiful tiny house. I wish ti live in this home.
Hey, really beautiful home idea. It seems like the more square feet, the more people let clutter define their home. This small, but the space is well utilized.
I really like this floor plan is cozy and warm feeling
Love the design, especially all the windows.
Very nice. We live in a 32x40, including our screened in front porch. Adequately sized, even with guests.
Magnifique maison !!! J'adore 💕 !!!💚💚💚💚
Tiny as the house is, something makes me comfatable and happy. 🎊👏👌🎉
Best house I have seen.
Nice layout,
Perfect for myself...senior
This is THE ONE ❤❤❤❤
Truly a masterpiece,thanks
Lovely tiny house
Love it!
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Me likey. Nice design.
Love this Floorplan 😊
Great little house, the only thing I would possibly include would be a laundry tub for hand washing etc.
Yes please! Wonderful design in less than 800 sf.
multiply 29x32 and see what you get.
Pocket doors can often improve the usable space in a small house, for example in the second bedroom.
I love this house. I would another bedroom and it would be perfect.
I love it!!
I love this house. Only difference I would make is close in the kitchen opening to lounge and make the front patio wider. 🎉
I want my workshop with a studio on the second floor to look similar to this build. (I’m a sculptor who welds.)
Really like this one.
I wonder if a house like this could also have a basement???? And that idea of a garage too!!!❤ Thanks for this great little house -- I feel very inspired!!❤
I would think the house could be built over a basement if someone wanted the cost. Maybe access from the laundry room?
Perfect home
Do you sell the renderings to this house to duplicate it? thank you!! :)
Love this small house! How can I get the floor plan with all measurements and specifications?
This is a compact house with most of the features I look for. Although I might want to move the door to the secondary bedroom a bit to put it opposite the bathroom door, and I'd look for places to insert a little more storage, the overall plan would work nicely.
Thank you!! 😊
Very Nice👍
I love it
I liked it. I would change the wall in kitchen, with the cut out to living room. Get rid of the wall altogether. Also get rid of the open shelves in the kitchen and put in cabinets. Master bathroom closet needs a different layout. I have formal dresses and need a long hanging spot.
2 bedroom, 2 bath is perfect. A few suggestions though: the house is oriented such that the majority of light comes from the south side, which includes the laundry room. Would it be possible to put the laundry room on the north side and one of the bedrooms on the south?
Beautiful
I want one so adorable 😊
I would switch the layout of the bedroom suite by moving the bedroom to the front porch side and the laundry room to the back of the house, and rearrange the laundry room to include a door to the added garage.
I think it was placed there for a place to hang your coats. Your idea would have the same effect - you'd hang your coats when you came in from the garage.
This exterior looks a great deal like my own design. The windows atop the porch roof are identical, 💯.
incredible house😍🤩🥰
Me encanto😊
Love this ❤
Great house. I would decrease the laundry room in order to have a bigger shower in the master bath.
Are you posting where to get plans for the homes here?
Someone that finally positioned the TV at eye level instead of half way up the wall! Beautiful home…..only changes for me, I would need a bathtub shower as well as removing the partition in the kitchen and a coat closet at the entry. If there was one, I missed it.
It was part of the washer/dryer room. Just add a bit of wall and a door, and it would be enclosed.
One shower. One bath / shower.
As it is only 2 bedrooms the need for 2 bathrooms is redundant. Have 1 large bathroom with a bath and separate shower or no bath at all and with a separate toilet/powder room. This would increase the size of the bedrooms and still allow for plenty of storage for both. I love the high windows but I would open the living and lounge area to 1 large space allowing for a dining/island combination. I love the light in the house.
I want one, I NEED one. 💙💙💙💙
👍👍✅💯 😍 Great job 👏🎉. Just my size!
Thank you!! 😊
Are the interior walls insulated.
Love it
Love this, but where is mechanical area for furnace, water tank, etc?
Amazing work! Looks like being made with Twinmotion, right?
Bring that back wall about 5 feet out further. Those cramped bedrooms that can barely fit a bed would be better. Then, behind the second bath, you can have a space that would fit your water heater and furnace. Why is it that not a single one of these concept art pieces actually have a livable presentation? Notice you've no place for a desk or a file cabinet or anything like that. It's one thing to do your taxes at the kitchen table, but you've no place to even set up a home computer anywhere. With that extra 5 foot in the bedrooms, you can have a little desk and chair. Wow....In but seconds you've suddenly gotten a LIVABLE house that has heat and hot water. My genius amazes even myself.
I think this house needs definitely a garage and maybe a shed to put extra supplies. Because where would you put all your Christmas decorations, etc. or garden tools? I think I would like a pocket door in the mudroom because you may not always wanted it to be open. Specially if you’re doing your laundry. The front porch is very nice and adequate but what about maybe having a little outdoor space in the back for barbecue, etc.
I'm sure all that could be added of someone wanted to incur the cost.
@@margiewelker4711 I was just giving an opinion and yes, I do understand that additional cost does occur with additional features. Thanks.
Needs a carport and a small office space somewhere.
Nice to have a price here
Wonder where I can purchase this floor plan from? Seems there should be a link in the description so the creator could make more $$$$.
click on the TM name under video to go to their main home page. I don't know if it's there, but there is more info.
Loved it. How much? I would just knock out that wall in the kitchen. Combine it with the LR and make it a wet bar instead. Get rid of dining room table and chairs and make it an island. Im single. Done 😊
I woukd take out the wall between kitchen n livingroom
who knew I've been living in a tiny home all these years.
