I was amazed at the stunning kitchen makeover achieved on a $300 budget in this video! The creative ideas and thrift store finds showcased here were inspiring. It goes to show that you don't need to spend a fortune to have a stylish kitchen.
You are literally the first influencer I've come across who talked about doing a project on a budget and actually set a budget up front. People need to understand that doing something on a budget and doing something on the cheap are very different. Very nice job on your kitchen!!!
i’m so glad that I stumbled upon this video! i’m 21 and just recently purchased a home that needs a ton of TLC, and I have no idea what i’m doing! thank you!
I’m so glad you found it too!! I’ve got tons of budget friendly ideas on my channel, I hope it gives you some more inspiration. 😁 thanks so much for watching!!
The first thing that impressed me was when you said to establish your budget first. Most reno videos that advertise "on a budget" really just means "on the cheap." You will hear them say something like "we ended up spending..." but they never say they established the budget up front. Thank you for this!
Ok I'm impressed how luxurious it looked after, those marble tile stickers really gave a whole new look and the white paint really lit up the kitchen. Great job Miss
This video takes the concept of budget kitchen makeovers to a whole new level. With a $300 budget, it manages to deliver a kitchen transformation that's both affordable and aesthetically impressive. The clever use of thrifted and repurposed items truly sets it apart. Soo Amazing
Amazing I like the marble wallpaper I was trying to do the same for the counters and the top like in the middle of the cabinet but I was afraid it was gonna be too much marble wallpaper but it looks really good I’m gonna do it now
These are the exact colors we had ours and the same ones we changed them too! Our kitchen brightened SO MUCH. We are in love with it. Your kitchen looks beautiful.
The kitchen is night and day!!!!! When we were a military family, contact paper for old countertops was normal for most families to individualize our base housing. I am both a chef and baker (not professional but I like to think so 😉) and very minimal take out diva as cooking from scratch is not only cheaper but healthier.
Your kitchen must have been made by the same people as the ones who made mine! We have the same decorative thing above the sink, and the same aluminum sort of flashing in the corners of the formica. I can't wait to do something similar at our house!
The contact paper holds up really really well without any top coat. Had one for 2.5yrs in our rental place. No complaints! You only have to remind yourself it aint real marble before setting anything hot on it.
This is so cool!!!! Putting contact paper on the counters is a really neat trick! I'm gonna save this video in my folder I keep for when we get a house some day.
So glad you liked it!! I have done this hack all over our house. If you missed them I did one showing it on our bathroom counters them also on my makeup vanity.
This video on a '$300 Budget Kitchen Makeover' is awesome. The DIY ideas and budget-friendly solutions are practical and achievable. It's a great source of inspiration for those wanting to give their kitchen a fresh look without burning a hole in their wallet.
Beautiful job dear specially on a budget. I guess the only thing i would have done different is i would have left the windows all white without the black trim but to each his own. This video was very helpful and thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
I have been talking to professional home remodelers regarding kitchen remodeling, they normally give a price tag of 20 thousand to 50 thousand. it is amazing that you guys do it in such a cost efficient way. Of course my plan is a little more in depth, such as removing some walls, and replace all the cabinets as a whole.
Give yourself a pat on the back and take a bow like a champ. Being retired in the trade I immediately thought the end result w/you wasn't going to be great. Most videos on RUclips w/do it yourselfers doing they're dated stained kitchen cabinets come out like crap. Especially w/the bleed thru's of stained or oak grained cabinets not properly treated and then using a Primer Sealer. Even the remarks by their followers saying how beautiful they came out have no clue. Anyways nice job. Time consuming w/this project but you nailed it. Nice job Lindsay and kudos also to your husband.
This video proves that you don't need a massive budget to achieve a stunning kitchen makeover. The $300 Budget Kitchen Makeover is not only inspiring but also a practical guide for those seeking a wallet-friendly renovation.
Beautiful! What a huge difference!! I'm wanting to paint out some darker wood trim but it has some kind of sealant on it. I've been told I will have to SAND it! I really don't want that mess .... and was wondering IF the De-Glosser would do the same as SANDING. I've read that if I'm painting over the trim with Latex and the sealant is oil based it will crack and peel and of course, I don't want that! Would love to know ... and if it's product that would work for me who makes it? Thanks so much for posting this video!!
I’m working on a second kitchen video where I take you inside the cabinets and I’ll also be sharing this air plant DIY in that video but sneak peek I snagged them off amazon!
Best kitchen renovation video yet! I'm going to follow all of these ideas! Love the idea of polyurethane on top of the contact paper to add high gloss like real marble as well as increase the durability! Love the air plants too. I'm anxious to watch your how-to video on constructing that. Fabulous renovation and you just increased the value of your house!
Glad to see you didn't do a white-out kitchen. Two toned cabinets? Looks like light gray on the bottom. Wow the kitchen looks great and it really did change the vibe. Good job!!!
Your kitchen looks AMAZING!!!! I will say sometimes I could be a takeout diva..lol, but I do love to cook! Since the quarantine we have been trying out the baking. This is inspiring!!!
Your kitchen looks so nice and bright. I have never seen the Ristoleum kits and will be interested to learn more about how they hold up against chipping and scrubbing. Great work!👏👏
I love using peel and stick wallpaper it can take something so bland and make it so exciting even living on social assistance I can make my apartment look like I live in an expensive condo
Really bright and inviting makeover. I have a similar kitchen except the walls are wood paneling. Thanks for the ideas on how to brighten up my kitchen. Oh and I'm a new subscriber😄
Beautiful! Could I use white primer then put the top coat over that to save money compared to buying the kit? Plus Primer should prevent me from having to apply 3-4 coats of white? Thanks I must say with inflation I'm not going to be able to do this on a $300 budget. I started fixing up a small 10*10 bedroom and that has already cost me $800!!! Paint and wood anything is sky high right now. Resale stores are my best friend at the moment.
Hi loved your kitchen how it turned out . I had done on my counter top the black manle but what i notice you applied same liq. Over the white marvel paper and i didnt see it listed on the link below please tell me what it is cause my didnt last thank you . Kerp up the great work. Good luck.
Omg this backsplash idea is exactly what I have been debating doing but wasn’t sure how it would look… it looks awesome 🤩 thank you for uploading, I have been going thru vids all day to see if it might look silly and finally found one featuring it and it looks gorgeous!
Found this by accident! You did a good job with the cabinets. It's not my taste (I'm going the opposite direction and making things dark), but I did find the kit you posted in espresso! So, that's what I'll be doing.
The gray looks amazing!! The white still looks mostly good but it for sure shows the age more than the gray. When I was applying them the paint consistencies were different between the two colors the gray was much smoother.
I love the renovation. I think I would have used chrome, for the hardware or painted the the same color grey that's on the contact paper. Overall, the kitchen is BEAUTIFUL!
Is the poly topcoat food friendly... while most things will be on cutting boards etc... just checking in case something does go on counter? Was looking into d.c. fix that would be more budget friendly... thx
I'm hoping you're able to answer my question because I have not been able to find it anywhere, if I have cabinets that were previously painted will I need something like the deglosser thing? I'm not painting over sealed wood so I'm not trying to get a sealant up.
What an amazing transformation! Quick question about the window area… what did you do to get the black trim? I’m guessing you painted them but wanted to double check. Those small accents really tie everything together and make it looked refined! Would love to hear how you did it :)

Sure but her voice is sooooo annoying can't listen to it.
OMG I have a wooden piece too above my sink. We just bought the house last year. I didn't realize we could cut it out. Fantastic job!!
i’m so glad that I stumbled upon this video! i’m 21 and just recently purchased a home that needs a ton of TLC, and I have no idea what i’m doing! thank you!

Me too! I always just buy, buy, and over buy! Lol and end up not even using everything
Ok I'm impressed how luxurious it looked after, those marble tile stickers really gave a whole new look and the white paint really lit up the kitchen. Great job Miss
Today I was just thinking...I probably have $300 I could spend on a project and my kitchen needs this! So glad I found your video.
This video takes the concept of budget kitchen makeovers to a whole new level. With a $300 budget, it manages to deliver a kitchen transformation that's both affordable and aesthetically impressive. The clever use of thrifted and repurposed items truly sets it apart. Soo Amazing
Love the combination of white and grey. You did a fantastic job and under a budget !
Amazing I like the marble wallpaper I was trying to do the same for the counters and the top like in the middle of the cabinet but I was afraid it was gonna be too much marble wallpaper but it looks really good I’m gonna do it now

Amazing! Best video for budget friendly renovations!
Girl you nail it. The only person I saw working was you but you always refered "we". Congratulations.
Her husband was quite active in the video and did a lot of the work. He alone was on screen multiple times.
I love it. I’m a new homeowner and it’s a fixer upper home. I’m gonna use this idea thank you.
Awesome kit to paint cabinets 👍🏻, I used the white paint on mine and came out super good, it's been more than 6 months and paint is like new
This was beautifully done ! 👏🏻👏🏻
I like your idea for the wall paper and counter top . I need a new countertop but this will save me money for now. Thanks
Looove it!! Thanks so much Queen! you got me all Inspired!!!! Keep Sharing. Thanks

how does it do with staining? we are forever spilling spaghetti sauce or hot sauce on our counters!
Amazing! It’s beautiful! You’ll have to do an update on your countertop in a few months to let us know how it held up.
I'm really curious how this countertop method held up too!
You guys did an amazing job!
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much Ann!
Kitchen looks great!

Looks great! If the counters Don't hold up (great idea with the urethane) Rust-Oleum also has a counter kit. Please keep us updated.
This transformation is beautiful! Thank you for sharing! How many paint kits did you have to use for your kitchen cabinets?
It looks beautiful and u just gave me a great idea with the countertops!😍

Wow nice work. I think I may try this.
What did you use for the black lining in the window? Was that paint as well?
So proud of you! Looks amazing and I can’t wait to see it in person!
Looks good. How has it held up????
You made this huge job look so easy! What an awesome transformation!!!
Thanks!! It was lots of work don’t get me wrong but I would so do it again! It’s so much brighter!!
Thanks for the explanations.
Beautiful transformation thanks

Everything looks great!! I'm so over grey, but bravo to the transformation!!
Thanks Jena. We are loving it.
I love it! Do you have a video on using the air plants to decorate? I was curious where you got them.
I’m working on a second kitchen video where I take you inside the cabinets and I’ll also be sharing this air plant DIY in that video but sneak peek I snagged them off amazon!
love love love this video , how did you get the black line around the window over the kitchen sink?

That turned out AMAZING!!!😲
Great vid! Please more for first home buyers!
Very beautiful. I loved how it came out. Question why did you put the poly on the counter tops? Just trying to find out its purpose
Beautiful work! I need to do my counter tops , thank you for your video.
Glad to see you didn't do a white-out kitchen. Two toned cabinets? Looks like light gray on the bottom. Wow the kitchen looks great and it really did change the vibe. Good job!!!
Thanks so much! Yes we are loving the gray bottom and the white top. It makes the room so much brighter! Thanks so much for watching.
Your kitchen looks AMAZING!!!! I will say sometimes I could be a takeout diva..lol, but I do love to cook! Since the quarantine we have been trying out the baking. This is inspiring!!!
I’m so glad you liked the video! What’s been your favorite thing to bake lately??
This is so beautiful I’m definitely going to do mines like this
Thank you so much for this video !
Love to bake and cook can't wait to start on my new home. The kitchen is king.
Great Video. Is there a certain size of hardware to use for the cabinets?
Your kitchen looks so nice and bright. I have never seen the Ristoleum kits and will be interested to learn more about how they hold up against chipping and scrubbing. Great work!👏👏

Welcome to the channel! So glad you are here. Yay I’m glad you got some ideas!! It’s crazy how much a difference paint can have on a place.
I like both baking and cooking

Glad it was helpful!
About the backslash and countertop, what happens when it gets wet? Is it pretty durable ?
This really turned out great!!
It turned out so good.
What brand is your appliances i like how they all match
i like that restoleum cabinate paint. i'd add concealed hinges. in my case i'd need to strip the old paint - too many uneven coats.
Good job . I can never get the corners right with contact paper!
How are your countertops & back splash holding up?
Found this by accident! You did a good job with the cabinets. It's not my taste (I'm going the opposite direction and making things dark), but I did find the kit you posted in espresso! So, that's what I'll be doing.
Looks beautiful! How did the Rust-oleum paint hold up over time? Any chips, yellowing, etc?
The gray looks amazing!! The white still looks mostly good but it for sure shows the age more than the gray. When I was applying them the paint consistencies were different between the two colors the gray was much smoother.
good explanation, step by step. I wonder how the contact paper is holding up
Amazing job
How well does the poly hold up over the counter tops?
Hey great video the peel marble countertops do they last long and durable ?
I love the renovation. I think I would have used chrome, for the hardware or painted the the same color grey that's on the contact paper. Overall, the kitchen is BEAUTIFUL!
This looks awesome! How did you lay the contact paper on the corner section of the countertop?
It's beautiful. But one thing cones to mind about the counter tops. Hot pots and cuts into the counter tops
Looks awesome
I’ve been wondering about these kits, and how easy they were to use! Looks great! BTW, I have that paint sprayer, and I love it!
Is the poly topcoat food friendly... while most things will be on cutting boards etc... just checking in case something does go on counter? Was looking into d.c. fix that would be more budget friendly... thx

Nice work, it looks great!
how have the countertops held up over the past year?
I love the cabinets!! What brand of paint did you use and what color?
Hey! The products are all linked in the video description. Thanks for watching!
How have the cabinets held up with the paint?
What an amazing transformation! Quick question about the window area… what did you do to get the black trim? I’m guessing you painted them but wanted to double check. Those small accents really tie everything together and make it looked refined! Would love to hear how you did it :)
Hey! Thanks for the watch and comment. Yes I used paint. It's crazy the difference what paint can do for a space!!
I am in the process of buying my kitchen needs help your video comes very handy thank you
You did great!
Hello, what spray paint did you use to paint the hinges? Love the video!!
Absolutley Beautiful ❤❤❤you and your husband did a great job!!
Thanks so much ❤️
How is the paint holding up on the cabinets?
Why did you add the poly over the contact paper? Does that help it stay down better?
I was about to ask the same question? I'm wondering why she did that. I would like to know because I want to do the same to my countertop .
This video is VERY INFORMATIVE!
Absolutely beautiful 😍 ❤ thanks for sharing
How did you sketch out your kitchen on you iPad?
Absolutley amazing!!!
Thanks girl!! ❤️
