I was contemplating getting a lawyer and fighting back against an ungodly situation at work. I feel wronged and I kid you not, earlier tonight, I heard a still, small voice speak to me as I was contemplating how to deal with the situation and he said, "you must not fight". Dr. Stanley then talked about how we need to endure. I kid you not, that same voice spoke to me the other day and said, "you must endure". Please pray for me.

I too am enduring a job I once loved, but coworkers have driven me to hate. I don't want to go back! But I get up each day, put a smile on my face, & go. I remind myself those people are my coworkers, NOT MY FRIENDS! I limit my dealings with them. NO office partys, etc. I'm polite, friendly, but I avoid them as much as possible. I'm there to do my job, not be a friend to two-faced ingrates. I do my work, & I leave. Once I accepted this was the ONLY way to deal with them, my life got a lot easier. I expect nothing from them. I give nothing to them, save polite small talk about the weather. They aren't worth any further effort. I tried to make friends when I first took the job. They made it plain, they didn't want my friendship. So I no longer offer it. It IS a difficult work environment, bordering on a Hostile Work Environment. At my Evaluation last Spring, My supervisor said I talked too much, not enough, & had poor communications skills.... All in under 10 minute's! Talk about a mixed message! I must endure. For how much longer, only God knows. I take it day by day, shift by shift, & at times I survive 10 minute's at a time. God knows I am ready to leave not only this job, but this town, this county, & even this State! I am waiting for the Lord's timing. My timing & choices brought me here. I no longer trust myself! Today I received this message, & I know I have to endure a while longer. Again, only God knows how long! But I will wait on the Lord!

I feel like I was discriminated against and I'm not getting the benefits of a full time employee even though I work full time. They won't recognize me as a full time employee so I can get my benefits after almost a year but they recognized another employee's status (who is a different ethnicity than me), even though we never had any meeting to discuss the change.

I thank God and Im so grateful for him, his life. I think of how he was saved at 12, started preaching at 16, pastored. a church for 50 years and then went to be with his Lord at 90 years old. What an amazing life he lived with and for God among us here even though millions of us have never met him. Amazing, I had several dreams in which i got married and was weeping saying "oh no, i didnt even ask God about this marriage" such an eye opener. I was not even dating anyone at the time. So these dreams were a revelation of something to come. My heavenly Father is so attentive and merciful. He has been protecting me. I have to trust that when the time comes to marry God will let me know His will when I ask Him. And I MUST ask Him! I am not bothered about my own biological timing anymore. Resting in His will....
I didn't wait on God for an answer, and I was sold a lemon. I brought a car for my granddaughter, as is, and she is having so many problems with that car. I should have prayed and waited on an answer from God, but I was in a hurry. That's what you get when you don't listen and wait on God. Amen!

I'm 28 and rushed into a relationship that crumbled and left me devastated. I didn't pray patiently and seek God's face on the matter. My emotions blinded me even when there were things I knew about her which I knew I couldn't handle,but I told myself I could. I should have asked for God's best. On July 3 , my beloved husband ran off on me...He hasn't answered my calls or my texts...I have been praying daily that God would restore my husband back to me and restore our marriage and make it even stronger than it has ever been. I wonder what Charles would have said about waiting on God's timing in this matter? It has already been days. I just want my husband back. Be gracious to me O LORD, for I am in distress, my eye wastes away with grief , my soul and body also. For my life is spent with sorrow and my time with sighing: my strength fails because of my misery, and my bones waste away. How long O LORD will You bear my misery?
It's not easy but you have to place your focus on God and let Him handle the rest. There will be days where you are a mixed bag of emotions but God said Be still and know that He is God. Believe me, it is Always good and Right to wait upon the Lord but there are very trying times in our lives, times we've done nothing to "deserve" and listening to God gets difficult because of our surrounding circumstances. But, keep up your practice of Listening to God when it's easy, quiet, and obvious.. the difficult times are much easier when you can say Yes because of the weight lifting you did before the heavy "stuff"...
I’ve never met someone who likes waiting like you. You are certain to encounter times of desire when you don’t want to wait (job, house, partner). I encourage you to log these “wait successes” so you can turn to them. You’ll need that strength, I assure you. Continued blessings, my friend.

Many and I mean many years ago I wanted to be married because all my friends and family members were getting married and I felt left out, so I met someone and dated for about a year, and on the day of my wedding I was dressing to get married, and I HEARD GOD LOUD AND CLEAR say these words to me "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THIS". Well I ignored what God asked me, it was God's warning and I went ahead that day and got married and have regretted it from day forth, truth be told here. Please listen and obey God and above all DON'T look at how old you are, or how many around you are getting married. I pray this helps you to wait upon the Lord.

Try being almost 67 and all alone and been that way for about 40 years. My wife left me for another guy when I was a young man. Been alone even since. I dated, but nothing ever stuck. I gave up when I turned 55. I don't even ask anyone out any more.
Not only listen to God but there are times when he does not answer your prayers for your own good. You might wonder and be upset about it in the beginning but time will show you why. I have been blessed by many unanswered prayers.

This is so important. I'm 62 years young . But when I was 18 I thought my heart was broken . I now believe that that stone around my neck was not that at all but it was God saving me from desire that wouldn't have worked. In other words Gods no was the best way. I've been unemployed for 9 years, sometimes I ask God why he hasn't bought me a job when everyone is know is leaving their jobs for a new one, yet I still haven't got one. But listening to this is encouraging, it's something I need as I have no money, but in God we have glorious riches.
Stay steadfast, the number nine represents the finish of a situation you may have incounter in life that needed to end... It's a test to see if you will stay with God are flea to wrong doing. Look at your situation from the eyes of Job. When he lost everything and the devil tried to get him to curse God but he didn't. Job stayed faithful and knew God had something more. Please believe when God bless you with a career and not a just over broke(Job). You see he was getting you ready for such a time and able to deal with the level of hate that will come plus he's more likely revealing and removing ppl out your life so no one can say it was them that help. Trust my brother I stood the test of time with God's grace and mercy, when the time came. God restored me on such a level that it shocked many, let God use you and your life to expose himself to you and those around you!!! This I know because it was my experience. Dear Louise, i was in a similar position and was waiting on the Lord for 5 years until i fell on the ground and started praying to my God that i will not ask for a job unless it is from Him. tht moment on things started to change for me. only when i gave up my will and placed it before the throne of His Grace, did i see how He started to change things...soon i got a lovely job. Our God knows exactly wat we're going through...dont give up. fall on your knees and look up to Him, your Heavenly Father cannot ignore your tears...remember nothing is hard for Him. In 2012 my firstborn son and granddaughter chose to walk out of my life. No rhyme or reason. One day in my desperation and crying out to God I heard the still small voice "Let go and let God be God. In my perfect timing I will make all things right. All you need to do is trust and have faith" Well its 2021 and nothing has changed. In the meantime I have a new grandchild that I have not met. They have all family functions but not invited. We have tried to reach out but to no avail. I have prayed cried and asked God forgiveness if I did something, but God has been silent. My heart has been shattered tattered and the shame blame I feel doesn't change. Pastor Stanley message must have faith and wait! But why does it have to hurt so much 💔😢 I continue to hang on to the still small voice 😔

I'm not proud of it...but I did come back. When I called my Dad, he just asked, " Where are you?". I told him I was in Pensacola, FL about to graduate from Aviation Electronics school in the Navy and I invited him to my graduation. He called me his Prodical Child. We were both crying. Pray for me, please. Pray that I can trust and listen to God more, because mental illness has made it hard sometimes to tell the difference between the voice of God, and the devil terrorizing me with guilt. I’ve prayed for a long time for guidance in various situations, but have had trouble discerning the voice of God through all the fog, and fear I’ve made wrong decisions because of it. I’m sure He’s speaking, but I can’t hear Him, because I heard the undeniable voice of God when I was younger in my faith a few years ago. Even right in the midst of my religious breakdown, where I was trapped by feeling like I couldn’t be happy without sinning, I knew the voice of God when I heard it. Nowadays whenever I pray for guidance, I’m always afraid I won’t hear God’s answer, and either end up missing my window of opportunity to do God’s will, or do something I’ll regret, but this sermon helped a lot, and spoke to my heart. Didn’t mean for this to turn into a vent, but hey! Maybe someone can relate!

I have to make a decision. This sermon is just perfect. Do I have the faith to wait? Sometimes we have this great faith for big decisions, like marriage or changes of job. But what about decisions that may not be that important, but may have a big impact in the future. Like changing my daughter from school. This is exactly what is going on with me. I declare with Faith that I trust God enough to love me so much to be involved in aspects of my life. I trust that God wants me to ask Him, I trust that God wants to give me direction. I trust that God wants to be glorified in my life on the big events as well as the smaller events, because He loves me and He wants me to have a relationship with Him. This is me preaching to myself. I struggle with waiting for the Lord I just left a very good program where I would had graduated on Friday and it was not about me or celebrating something I did I should had stayed for the people who put the time in me whether I needed it or not they gave me refuge from a serious situation in my life that I did not create I will for ever be grateful to them and surely be sending some good men to them in the future but I should had stayed and at the very least said thank you.

Years ago I started asking God before making major decisions. Now I include him in all decisions. Especially in areas that I have failed miserably. Obeying and waiting on him has changed my life. I too have not always listened or obeyed immediately to him because I wanted things my way. However, I didn't move and God revealed clearly to me the reasons why. I am eternally grateful that I didn't move forward with the wrong decision. THANK YOU LORD!!!! for your grace and mercy and patience with me. I'm still waiting on the Lord and leaning on him for guidance and direction in my life. I know when things come to pass it will be the best of everything. Praise God and wait patiently for him.
I recently had to make a very very difficult decision. I learned this very very valuable lesson how to listen to God, and how NOT TO RUSH if I wasnt 100% sure that God has spoken. the world was trying to rush me for a decision. and I stuck to it and answered to God alone. when God finally spoke it was LOUD AND CLEAR. the same scripture was spoken to me FOUR times. 2 through others praying for me, they felt impressed to speak that verse over me, once when I opened the bible, and another time when I opened a devotional. That is the verse that's going to guide me through this decision and a lesson to be learned.

I feel wronged and I kid you not, earlier tonight, I heard a still, small voice speak to me as I was contemplating how to deal with the situation and he said, "you must not fight". Dr. Stanley then talked about how we need to endure. I kid you not, that same voice spoke to me the other day and said, "you must endure". Please pray for me.

I too am enduring a job I once loved, but coworkers have driven me to hate.
I don't want to go back!
But I get up each day, put a smile on my face, & go.
I remind myself those people are my coworkers, NOT MY FRIENDS! I limit my dealings with them. NO office partys, etc. I'm polite, friendly, but I avoid them as much as possible.
I'm there to do my job, not be a friend to two-faced ingrates. I do my work, & I leave. Once I accepted this was the ONLY way to deal with them, my life got a lot easier.
I expect nothing from them.
I give nothing to them, save polite small talk about the weather. They aren't worth any further effort.
I tried to make friends when I first took the job. They made it plain, they didn't want my friendship. So I no longer offer it.
It IS a difficult work environment, bordering on a Hostile Work Environment. At my Evaluation last Spring, My supervisor said I talked too much, not enough, & had poor communications skills.... All in under 10 minute's!
Talk about a mixed message!
I must endure. For how much longer, only God knows. I take it day by day, shift by shift, & at times I survive 10 minute's at a time. God knows I am ready to leave not only this job, but this town, this county, & even this State!
I am waiting for the Lord's timing. My timing & choices brought me here. I no longer trust myself!

I feel like I was discriminated against and I'm not getting the benefits of a full time employee even though I work full time. They won't recognize me as a full time employee so I can get my benefits after almost a year but they recognized another employee's status (who is a different ethnicity than me), even though we never had any meeting to discuss the change.

Let me just say, that in that past, I’ve had some unfair treatment in various situations and no fault of my own, I prayed earnestly to God and what “they” meant for evil, God meant for good! I thank God and Im so grateful for him, his life. I think of how he was saved at 12, started preaching at 16, pastored. a church for 50 years and then went to be with his Lord at 90 years old. What an amazing life he lived with and for God among us here even though millions of us have never met him. Dr Stanley was so loxed because he taught the true word of God and his letters and messages were not only from the "Pastor's heart" they were also from "God's heart" I 25:44 will always remember what he always said " Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.

Amazing, I had several dreams in which i got married and was weeping saying "oh no, i didnt even ask God about this marriage" such an eye opener. I was not even dating anyone at the time. So these dreams were a revelation of something to come. My heavenly Father is so attentive and merciful. He has been protecting me. I have to trust that when the time comes to marry God will let me know His will when I ask Him. And I MUST ask Him! I am not bothered about my own biological timing anymore. Resting in His will....

I wonder what Charles would have said about waiting on God's timing in this matter? It has already been days. I just want my husband back. Be gracious to me O LORD, for I am in distress, my eye wastes away with grief , my soul and body also. For my life is spent with sorrow and my time with sighing: my strength fails because of my misery, and my bones waste away. How long O LORD will You bear my misery?
It's not easy but you have to place your focus on God and let Him handle the rest. There will be days where you are a mixed bag of emotions but God said Be still and know that He is God. Dr. Stanley is on point...wait and let God use that time to work on you so that when the time comes, you will be prepared and so will he (if it's God's will). I will keep you lifted in prayer. but there are very trying times in our lives, times we've done nothing to "deserve" and listening to God gets difficult because of our surrounding circumstances.
But, keep up your practice of Listening to God when it's easy, quiet, and obvious.. the difficult times are much easier when you can say Yes because of the weight lifting you did before the heavy "stuff"...
I’ve never met someone who likes waiting like you. You are certain to encounter times of desire when you don’t want to wait (job, house, partner). I encourage you to log these “wait successes” so you can turn to them. You’ll need that strength, I assure you. Continued blessings, my friend.

Many and I mean many years ago I wanted to be married because all my friends and family members were getting married and I felt left out, so I met someone and dated for about a year, and on the day of my wedding I was dressing to get married, and I HEARD GOD LOUD AND CLEAR say these words to me "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THIS". Well I ignored what God asked me, it was God's warning and I went ahead that day and got married and have regretted it from day forth, truth be told here. Please listen and obey God and above all DON'T look at how old you are, or how many around you are getting married. I pray this helps you to wait upon the Lord.

Try being almost 67 and all alone and been that way for about 40 years. My wife left me for another guy when I was a young man. Been alone even since. I dated, but nothing ever stuck. I gave up when I turned 55. I don't even ask anyone out any more.
Not only listen to God but there are times when he does not answer your prayers for your own good. You might wonder and be upset about it in the beginning but time will show you why. I have been blessed by many unanswered prayers.

This is so important. I'm 62 years young . But when I was 18 I thought my heart was broken . I now believe that that stone around my neck was not that at all but it was God saving me from desire that wouldn't have worked. In other words Gods no was the best way. I've been unemployed for 9 years, sometimes I ask God why he hasn't bought me a job when everyone is know is leaving their jobs for a new one, yet I still haven't got one. But listening to this is encouraging, it's something I need as I have no money, but in God we have glorious riches.
Stay steadfast, the number nine represents the finish of a situation you may have incounter in life that needed to end... It's a test to see if you will stay with God are flea to wrong doing. Look at your situation from the eyes of Job. When he lost everything and the devil tried to get him to curse God but he didn't. Job stayed faithful and knew God had something more. Please believe when God bless you with a career and not a just over broke(Job). You see he was getting you ready for such a time and able to deal with the level of hate that will come plus he's more likely revealing and removing ppl out your life so no one can say it was them that help. Trust my brother I stood the test of time with God's grace and mercy, when the time came. God restored me on such a level that it shocked many, let God use you and your life to expose himself to you and those around you!!! This I know because it was my experience. Dear Louise, i was in a similar position and was waiting on the Lord for 5 years until i fell on the ground and started praying to my God that i will not ask for a job unless it is from Him. tht moment on things started to change for me. only when i gave up my will and placed it before the throne of His Grace, did i see how He started to change things...soon i got a lovely job. Our God knows exactly wat we're going through...dont give up. fall on your knees and look up to Him, your Heavenly Father cannot ignore your tears...remember nothing is hard for Him. In 2012 my firstborn son and granddaughter chose to walk out of my life. No rhyme or reason. One day in my desperation and crying out to God I heard the still small voice "Let go and let God be God. In my perfect timing I will make all things right. All you need to do is trust and have faith" Well its 2021 and nothing has changed. In the meantime I have a new grandchild that I have not met. They have all family functions but not invited. We have tried to reach out but to no avail. I have prayed cried and asked God forgiveness if I did something, but God has been silent. My heart has been shattered tattered and the shame blame I feel doesn't change. Pastor Stanley message must have faith and wait! But why does it have to hurt so much 💔😢 I continue to hang on to the still small voice 😔
My heart and prayers go out to you. Some times people are just determined to be stubborn. But when it hits them, and it will, they will come back. I know because I did the same thing. I'm not proud of it...but I did come back. When I called my Dad, he just asked, " Where are you?". I told him I was in Pensacola, FL about to graduate from Aviation Electronics school in the Navy and I invited him to my graduation. He called me his Prodical Child. We were both crying. I felt led to share this with you and I hope it helps! My prayers are with you to hopefully soften the pain. Take care! I look as life as a wheel. Pray for me, please. Pray that I can trust and listen to God more, because mental illness has made it hard sometimes to tell the difference between the voice of God, and the devil terrorizing me with guilt. I’ve prayed for a long time for guidance in various situations, but have had trouble discerning the voice of God through all the fog, and fear I’ve made wrong decisions because of it. I’m sure He’s speaking, but I can’t hear Him, because I heard the undeniable voice of God when I was younger in my faith a few years ago. Even right in the midst of my religious breakdown, where I was trapped by feeling like I couldn’t be happy without sinning, I knew the voice of God when I heard it. Nowadays whenever I pray for guidance, I’m always afraid I won’t hear God’s answer, and either end up missing my window of opportunity to do God’s will, or do something I’ll regret, but this sermon helped a lot, and spoke to my heart. Didn’t mean for this to turn into a vent, but hey! Maybe someone can relate!
I can really relate to your struggle I'm experiencing this now. May God show you the way, guide you and support you through this challenge. Maybe we can pray to know how to proceed and learn our lessons. Hang in there. It's not easy but we are willing to do the right thing before God. That's something.

I have to make a decision. This sermon is just perfect. Do I have the faith to wait? Sometimes we have this great faith for big decisions, like marriage or changes of job. But what about decisions that may not be that important, but may have a big impact in the future. Like changing my daughter from school. This is exactly what is going on with me. I declare with Faith that I trust God enough to love me so much to be involved in aspects of my life. I trust that God wants me to ask Him, I trust that God wants to give me direction. I trust that God wants to be glorified in my life on the big events as well as the smaller events, because He loves me and He wants me to have a relationship with Him. This is me preaching to myself. Thank You Lord.

I struggle with waiting for the Lord I just left a very good program where I would had graduated on Friday and it was not about me or celebrating something I did I should had stayed for the people who put the time in me whether I needed it or not they gave me refuge from a serious situation in my life that I did not create I will for ever be grateful to them and surely be sending some good men to them in the future but I should had stayed and at the very least said thank you.

Years ago I started asking God before making major decisions. Now I include him in all decisions. Especially in areas that I have failed miserably. Obeying and waiting on him has changed my life. I too have not always listened or obeyed immediately to him because I wanted things my way. However, I didn't move and God revealed clearly to me the reasons why. I am eternally grateful that I didn't move forward with the wrong decision. THANK YOU LORD!!!! for your grace and mercy and patience with me. I'm still waiting on the Lord and leaning on him for guidance and direction in my life. I know when things come to pass it will be the best of everything. Praise God and wait patiently for him.

I recently had to make a very very difficult decision. I learned this very very valuable lesson how to listen to God, and how NOT TO RUSH if I wasnt 100% sure that God has spoken. the world was trying to rush me for a decision. and I stuck to it and answered to God alone. when God finally spoke it was LOUD AND CLEAR. the same scripture was spoken to me FOUR times. 2 through others praying for me, they felt impressed to speak that verse over me, once when I opened the bible, and another time when I opened a devotional. That is the verse that's going to guide me through this decision and a lesson to be learned.
