This was previously a movie made by a production company based in Utah (many of the scenes were in fact filmed in Salt Lake City in the suburb of West Valley City) called the Leucadia Film Corporation. When The Disney Channel bought the rights for the movie, they edited out several minutes, including the cafeteria dance scene. The Samuel Goldwyn Company is the current owner of this movie and it retained and restored the footage chopped out for the Disney Channel broadcast.
